We were excited to try this place out. Service was slow due to staffing issues and when she finally came and took our drink... order, she returned to say they were out of white zinfandel. So I settled for chardonnay. It had definitely been open a while.We got out appetizer, garlic knots and they along with the soup and salad were very good. My husband got veal parmigiana. It wasso tough he couldn't eat it and the sauce was tangy and definitely not fresh. I got chicken marsala and it was basically verythin chicken tenderloins with mushrooms and served in a thin tasteless sauce that was pretty much just an au jus sauce. With alot of garlic. It had taken so long to get our food and the whole visit was so disappointing we just decided to pay theridiculous amount for the less than appetizing ordeal. We ordered calzones and after picking them up got home to find they didn't have the toppings we ordered in them. We got a dough... ball stuffed with ricotta. Oh and 2 tablespoons marinara. About 2 bites worth. We called to let them know the order wasn'tright..they offered to remake them...but we decided to try our luck with the pizza instead. When you can keep eating ???? the pizza ???? the next day for breakfast and lunch you know you have found a wonderful pizza... place!! When I was little my dad would take us to a pizza place after church ?? called ?Father and Son?s Pizza.? He couldn?t doit all the time but when he could he?d always take us. For me, those were such great memories and I am not sure if I candescribe how yummy the pizza was but I do know I looked forward to us boxing up the leftovers for the next few days. Maybe itwas the memories of us all being together eating pizza and catching up on life that makes those memories so meaningful. Soyesterday while my sister and I were there at Marsala?s catching up on life eating Calamari, deliciously, perfectly baked garlic???? rolls, and a mouth watering thin crust, meat lover?s pizza with cold beer and a heartfelt conversation I could not be moregrateful! Add to that Michael Buble playing in the background and well? the moment was just blissfully perfect! Top it off withyour breakfast and lunch for the next day and you literally have the best pizza place west of Lake Okeechobee. Home made Italian food in Estero FL at its best. Really good. Nice friendly staff. Definitely worth trying
