Celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary at the Windward. Great food, waitress was pleasant and stopped by our table often. The... bread was delicious. Made a reservation a week ahead of time for a birthday and they ?didn?t have it.? Well yes after watching how they take... reservations by handwritten notes in a notepad no wonder you lost the reservation... not very organized but it is a small placecatered to older folks so its expected. This was the old Hearthside restaurant and has been under new ownership for quite a while. They do a great job getting folks... seated and keeping things moving forward. Wait staff is excellent, they'll remember what you order after a couple of times andbring you the food out piping hot w good portions. We don't drink but hear the drinks are well made. One of our favorites is thefried clams with the tartar sauce. A lot of places offer them but few match the quality here. Great for an appetizer whilewaiting for your meal.
