Jo-ji's is the absolute best. I live in Albuquerque NM and no other place in Albuquerque or surrounding areas has anything as... delicious as these beef bowls. I will occasionally make the trip to Espanola just to enjoy this. Not once have i had a badexperience. The beef is always tender and tasty. There is no skimping whatsoever. Vegetables are always fresh and cookedperfect along with the fried rice/vegetable rice. It's pricey but well worth it. Highly recommend. Read more

Owner, do you realize that most people get home by 6 - 6:30.. if you have no business it?s probably because of your hours and... based on the comments from customer?s, you need to get new management. We ordered 2 chicken rice bowls and a shrimp rice bowl. One of the chicken bowls had a long black hair in it. I put it In my... mouth without realizing. Then I had the hair wrapped around my teeth and tongue. We were so grossed out, called the manager andhe said next time he wasn?t going to refund the whole amount, only the plate that was bad. Super sad this place has gotten very poor state, the serving sizes are smaller , the prices are higher and quality is... down. Order 2 Alaskan rolls and was disturbed to find them on top of hot food , getting warm. I mean come on it's raw fish, are they not teaching their employees how to bag food as such. My gf also complained that here samon as in the samon plate hadgotten a smaller portion size, she would know she use work there when William the owner was still alive, now I think his son hastaken over. I got the teriyaki chicken dinner with egg roll and edamame. Fairly decent and I've eaten this dish in other states a hundred... times. I also always put siriachi or chili garlic sauce on there too. So. $9 wasn't bad, usually $2 higher in New Mexico forfood even at Taco Bell. Egg rolls are decent, better be at $6 for 4. Well, they call it 4 but it's 2 cut in half. Thus, the 3star. So the food is definitely good, but the service is definitely lacking. If you don't have plenty of time to spare this is not the... place to go. Our drinks and appetizers were served promptly, but we waited 50 minutes for our sushi rolls. Our server rarelychecked in with us. As I looked around, the lobby (waiting area) was full of people waiting and there was open tables. You wouldsee servers walking around but not engaging with their tables. Servers would make contact with the chef preparing the sushiconstantly and at times seemed to have attitude with him, mainly one. I saw a customer get up to retrieve their own to go box.This place is locally owned but from reading other reviews it seems like they are too prideful to address their employee's lackof customer service. I whole heatedly love supporting local businesses, but it just seems like this establishment has fallenbehind from what they once were. As we were driving through town, we saw that the New Denny's Restaurant had opened andcommented that we should have had dinner there instead. Good food yes, terrible customer service.
