So many employees, very loose dress code for the employees so someone random walks up to the table to take your order and it... catches you off guard. The menu has something for everyone. They have a specialty beef that they have on MANY DISHES. It wastasty ???? Seat yourself and get ready to talk out, it gets noisy. I'm pretty sure that's how they like it here. I hear fusion an assume mixed foods. We arrived early an walked in. The staff personal seemed confused why we just stood there.... We weren’t sure if we were to seat ourselves or wait. So it gave off a generally odd first impression. Instead of beinggreeted an told to just take a seat anywhere. There was also some more confusion with ordering. As some were brought menus an orordered from their phones. The fries were ok. Nothing special. Kinda reminded me of the ones you buy in the frozen section anwarm up. The loaded Mexican mac I had high hopes for an it was ok. They could really make this something. The corn aspect wasyummy but the peppers didn’t taste fresh. Just kinda like the old peppers you put in cheep nachos. Instead of fresh cut hotpeppers. It could do with out the added cilantro. The max could use more cheese! More corn! Seriously this was such a cool ideathat I want to make this at home but I would love to see this place execute it better an make it a key on the menu. Place gotpretty busy by 11am. Indoor an outdoor seating. Best outside if you have a stroller or younger kids. I found it odd butapparently per several ppl I ask this is common in the restaurant business. The staff member took the plates an utensils that wedidn’t use an placed them back. Which I found odd cause while I didn’t physically eat off them. I still touched them. Theystill touched the table. We did use a plate for fries but ate them all so the plate looked clean. But both my friends who workin this industry said if it’s not used we use it again. we ordered sweet potato fries, a Greek salad and a caprese pizza. The best thing we ordered was the sweet potato fries which... come frozen unfortunately pizza tasted like crust with cheese and tomatoes on top not sure if they forgot the sauce but evengarlic would improve it. The Greek Salad had all the right toppings but served over Arugula. Greek salads are typically Iceburgor green leaf the ingredients don't match. 2nd time here. The first time was amazing. Had the sharp tacos and the shrimp is so big it was surprising!! 2nd time was great... too! Maybe it was the wine yet I remember the shrimp being much bigger...lol Service was good although I remember being checkedon much more the first time and that's the reason I came back. 3 parts bar, 1 part restaurant = Fusion. California salad is probably the best I've ever had. Pizza was poor. Bulgogi fries... lacked flavor, don't waste your appetite. Sports bar vibe on a Friday night. Great place for live music and drinks. Bad placefor food. Read more
Well I've been here 2 times. Its a cool "hangout" for the older crowd. The chef must REALLY need help because the food takes a... very long time to come out and lacks flavor. I had a half a chicken. It was super dry and tasteless. The menu is simple andshould be fairly easy to pump food out. Both times i have been here have been on the weekends and its NOT busy. My meal anddrinks was $150. Tip included. For this type of $$$ i expect much tastier food and presentation. This is.why i have such a hardtime going out to eat. I do so much better and know how food should taste.
