I ordered chicken parmigiana. The chicken was a large piece and was delicious. It came with a salad that was the best with... extras. The cost was VERY high. My chicken cost $28.99 for just the entree and side salad. It was good but can't affordthis again. It's a shame. Read more

This is my favorite Italian restaurant! My fiancé and I have been here four times and every time it has been consistently... great! We ordered the Chicken Parmesan. Excellent! It came with a side of spaghetti and grilled vegetables. It wasdelicious. We can eat a lot. It is a very healthy portion so we split it. You also get a side salad or minestrone soup. Ichose the salad. They have the absolute best house dressing, a vinaigrette, just the right mix and spice. And we always getthe spumoni (excellent, 3 scoops). Also, the head manager and the manager Ashley checked on us to see how we were doing. Thisis a very well-run, classy restaurant, very clean too, and they really take good care of their customers. A shout out to Nickwho waited on us. You did an excellent job! Thank you. Read more

Great food and service. Decor is classic if a little dated or old school, but not in a bad way. Out of the way but worth the... trip. Pizza is wonderful with medium thick crunchy dough, not floppy but definitely weighed down with yummy ingredients appliedliberally. Not a huge fan of the blue-ranch dressing on the salad, but I didn't come here for the salad. Great laid back, familyfriendly place. Read more

Came in for lunch craving Italian. I sat down and waited for the server. Milan, the bartender in the lounge, came over to ask... what I would like. I ordered a sculpin and he recommended I move to the lounge since it was happy hour and cheaper over there. Now that is solid service and honest. I ended up ordering a side of sausage, which is soaked in blue moon and vegetables thenboiled. However, I prefer mine well done and had no problem receiving what I ordered. Main entree was the cannelloni and twomeatballs. All in all I am extremely satisfied as usual. Always clean, staff is friendly, the service and portions are alwaysperfect. Definitely will be back. Thank you for yet another great experience! Read more

The service was good, the Caprese salad was great. The rest of the food seemed like it was from a can. However , attached to... it was a cheese and wine place called Cork and Knife which deserves 4 stars. Anita was pretty knowledgeable and obviously lovesher craft Read more

First time here, came with my friend, the patio area is very pleasant in the evening. The bread is definitely not typical... Italian - needs to be thicker crust. Also, no olive oil or balsamic was offered. Butter was served room temp nice and soft. Ourappetizer was the Caprese salad - the mozzarella seemed too commercial, basically chewy vs. soft and doughy. Tomatoes had littleflavor and I could hardly taste the olive oil or balsamic. Thankfully the entree, Spinach Ravioli was a generous portion, freshmade pasta with a delicious filling. Sauce was a little on the salty side yet flavorful. I asked for more Parmesan and was givena jar of powder. At these prices I would expect fresh Parmesan. We were a little surprised on the bill was a 4% surcharge whichwe were told by the waiter that this is due to the minimum wage increase in San Diego. I wish there was some mention of it atleast on the menu somewhere. I think having been to Italy has raised my awareness of what true ‘authentic’ Italian cuisinecan be. Sorry DiCicco’s didn’t qualify for us. Read more

I love this place! No joke I grew up eating here in Clovis Ca! I was stoked when I found out they would be opening one here in... Escondido. I was not disappointed! Recipes are just as delicious! Brilliant menu! Scarface is my all time favorite dish! Breadalways homemade and love their fried zucchini! I have been to this location twice now, and both servers I had were amazing! Thisis definitely still my favorite Italian food!!! If you haven’t tried it, you are missing out!! Read more
