(Edit: I can tell, by the responses the owner/manager is giving, why some of the wait staff has the idgaf attitude. Just know... that you might have a great server and up to usual par food, or you might have a one star experience.) I've reviewed myexperiences at the Carlsbad restaurant, but not the one in Escondido. My friend and I stop here frequently during happy hour.The service is either great or fair, depending on who is serving. Obviously I am generally pleased with my experience here or Iwouldn't keep coming back. Maybe because I come here often, it's inevitable that I have a less than ok experience. We sat downat a booth that had not been cleared after the previous customer, as it was the only one available and we didn't want a table.We waited at least 10 minutes for someone to come and clear off the table. I get that things can be busy, but 10 minutes? Ourserver knew we were sitting there waiting. She offered no explanation as to why it took that long, nor did she offer any apologyfor the wait. I worked in a service industry (not food service, but I dealt with the public) for 30 years. I know the words "I'msorry" can go a long way. Even if you don't feel sorry, say it anyway! This is an all around great place. Awesome for watching sports, great for girls or guys night out and perfect for date night.... Wonderful menu choices. Something for everyone including the pickiest of eaters. Super cool bartenders. Fast service! What areyou waiting for? Go to BJ'S! Read more

I usually love this establishment but this one is an absolute liability to eat at. They under cooked my food to the point I had... to re cook it to safely eat it. Do not get delivery from here if you don't want food poisoning. Read more

This was my first time at this restaurant and by far the worst experience ever. To start off it took almost 30 min to get our... drinks. We received our food before the drinks and they gave us the wrong beer. Then there was paper in my burger I couldn’tbelieve this. They didn’t take the paper wrap off of the patty. My daughter and I stopped here for lunch and all I can say is the fries were good. I ordered a hot chicken sandwich and the... chicken was so dry and over cooked it was like eating jerky. I took 2 bites and couldn't eat anymore of it. The waitress was sobusy with a large section to handle she couldn't take time to ask how our food was, not her fault at all.
