Our first time trying out this new breakfast place. Came in with high expectations. The "Original breakfast place" does not live... up to the name. Standard breakfast items. Ran out of English muffins. Waffles were frozen, thawed and soggy. Really surprisedbecause fresh waffles are easy and quick to make, and was not expected at an authentic breakfast spot. Server only came aroundonce to collect the order. Generous on coffee refills and prices are reasonable. It was a quick "in and out" experience. I seeseveral good reviews so not sure if it was the end of the day or short staffing. But if you're looking for something morewholesome and family oriented with good food and service this may not be the place. Read more

My husband and I were in town to see the tall ships and the internet recommended The Original Breakfast Place for breakfast. I... am so glad we went. The food was incredible. I had Eggs Benedict. The hollandaise sauce and poached eggs were perfect. Myhusband got a big platter (can't remember the name) but he got so much good food for only $9. And according to him the eggswere just right and he is a hard man to please when it comes to eggs. The service was great both from our server and thegentleman clearing plates were excellent. We will be back the next time we are up that way. Read more
Absolutely Erie's best breakfast. Not only is it reasonably priced but, it was really good food. Not disappointed most certainly... if you are traveling add this if your looking for breakfast. Thank you guys seriously! Read more
