Great lunch experience. The Laredo Steak was perfect and the service by Meghan was amazing!
Stopped into Max & Erma's for a quick dinner with my husband after a long day. Neither of us have ever eaten at a Max & Erma's,... but my husband had seen an ad for their Surf n' Turf burger and was curious to try it. The restaurant presented as a casual,neighborhood eatery. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and immediately seated as requested in the bar. Our server was superfriendly and quickly explained their specials. While we were looking over the menu, our drinks arrived. The server sincerelyasked if she could answer any questions. We both ordered burgers and I specifically asked for the blue cheese spread to be addedto my Sauteed Mushroom and Swiss Burger. Our food arrived hot and as ordered. My husband was delighted with the Surf n' TurfBurger and the endless french fries were an added bonus. My burger with the blue cheese spread came out delicious. Our serverwas attentive and refilled drinks without even asking. The prices were moderate to low compared to other places, especially forthe appetizing entrees. We will definitely visit again...between the great service, relaxing atmosphere and good food, thisplace is worth a visit! Read more
Okay here we go again. First time here so far I'm impressed our server is very pleasant and very knowledgeable and friendly.... So far I can recommend the Tortellini soup. I use to drive truck and picked this soup up many times in Canada and brought itback to the states. Its damn good . Love this place. Good atmosphere and our water was great! I have allergies and they did a good job accommodating them.
The food was awful. The chicken salad was so dry, I had to ask for mayo. The fries were not fresh and were super salty. The... waitress was so sweet, I didn't want to complain to her. Her shift was almost over. I didn't want to be "that" customer right atthe end of her shift. We went on Wednesday around 3 or 4 pm. The coffee was good. Read more
A great stop Down memory lane. Nostalgia for us as we would visit Max and Ermas in Lexington as well as in the suburbs of... Chicago. Maybe 20-30 years ago. This local Max and Ermas is still filled with charm and character. The staff. Is incredibleand the food is yummy and affordable. The service was excellent but the food was not cooked to order. I ordered the BBQ pulled pork burger. The description sounded... delicious but it was not cooked to order and had no taste. Another person in my party ordered the same thing and asked to becooked medium rare and I asked to be cooked medium well and both sandwiches were cooked well done. Read more
