Their weekly appetizer house made specials are unique and amazing. This is the second Friday in a row I have met friends there... for drinks and we got the pepperoni balls last week and all I can say is they are the best in town. Well l did enjoy the beer service, otherwise, the beechwood Inc's Harwood grill, should be called beechwood CAFETERIA. For that... was my experience. Walking up to order and pay and pick-up.Then a 10 $sandwich is served on a CAFETERIA tray,the side ofcoleslaw floating around the other side of the yucky tray.not even a plate for my sandwich and fries.Just an aluminum tray withsome paper. Was expecting Beechwood quality. Did not happen. Seated and told how to order. Said she would be back with plates and... silverware. Never saw again. App and food done at same time. Poutine cold. Very little toppings. Philly sub skimpy and cold.Burger cool but most passable. Tots cold. Finally found condiments on our own. Very disappointing. Noone asked how it was orwould have tried to see if this could of been salvaged. Was difficult to get around for my hubby who has trouble walking. Notreally ADA friendly. Would not recommend. Erie Brewing includes the Birchwood Inn. Erie is beer, Beechwood Inn is Food. They have a bizarre procedure for food. You check... in with a hostess to be seated. We had a 20 min wait even though the place was 75%empty so I guess they have a kitchen staffshortage. Once seated a waitress takes drink orders, an Erie transaction with a separate check. For food, you go to a window toorder and pay then return to your table. A pager tells you when to go back and pick up your food. Then go to a separate stationfor utensils and condiments. Interestingly, the person taking the food order expected a tip even though she never left theregister! The food was OK. Nothing special. The atmosphere was OK. Lots of merchandise for sale. And everything was touristpricey. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back. The staff trolling for tips was really poor form. Oh, pay attention to the menu.Very poorly written.
