So incredibly happy to have stumbled upon this restaurant during our trip to Door County two weeks ago. We were nearly the last... couple seated for the evening and enjoyed the lovely and quaint outdoor seating area. The wine selection was terrific, and thiswas a romantic little place! The two dishes that we enjoyed definitely entertained our taste buds with every bite; it wasphenomenally delectable. The staff also showed true hospitality and class. I would love to come here again!! Read more

Dinning at Trixie?s has far exceeded our expectations. First of all, the food is exceptional. Definitely, the best in all of... Door County. Although everything was great, I highly recommend the Chicken confit ????. I want to also recognize the amazingservice we received from the front and the back of the house. Kayla, our bartender/server was very knowledgeable, hospitable, and took great care of us. Also, Cooper and Em from the kitchen staff worked so cohesively together, creating perfectlybalanced, delicious dishes, but also being super friendly and hospitable (working in such a small place!) My Fiancé and I havebeen to Michelin Starred restaurants all over the world, and I truly believe this gem deserves a star based on the food andservice we received. It?s a small restaurant with limited seating, so I highly recommend going early. We got there around 6:30,and was one of the last reservations put on the list for the night because of the high demand. It was an amazing experience andwe can?t wait to return! Read more

What a Great LITTLE find. Very small dinning room. Nice wine bar, eclectic menu, VERY well done. Trixie's does not take... reservations so you just go early and stand in line to see if you get in for the 1st seating. If you don't make the cut don'tworry, get on the list and go have a glass of wine down the street they will text you when your table is ready. Atmosphere, service and food is great. Read more

A Door County delight in Ephraim. We shared the saganaki, green gazpacho, battered green onions, couscous, and the pasta of the... day which was a ricotta gnocchi with fennel sausage crumble. The tempura battered green onions were my favourite of the meal.Perfectly crisp and seasoned and a hefty portion; incredible. Small plates and impressively researched and sourced wines makefor a wonderful experience. They don?t take reservations so it?s vital to arrive well before opening if you wish to dine in thefirst seating at 5 pm as we did. Read more

So delicious and the cutest little place. We had to wait an hour to get in the last seating since they don?t take reservations,... but we just popped over to Pearl?s Wine Cottage across the street (also great) and hung there til we got the text to come. Itwas so worth the wait! Highlights for us were the confit chicken, cacio e pepe, and ricotta gnocchi. Definitely come here ifyou?re in DC. Read more
