Food was subpar. The chicken, fried fish and shrimp poorly seasoned, soggy, fries soggy and no salt. Candied yams as if the... sifting top for the cinnamon fell off, black and burnt tasting and mushy, collard greens seemed canned and all you could tastewas hot sauce, Mac and cheese and potato salad were ok again lacking in flavor. All in all like mama use to say cooked withoutlove. I wanted to give them a chance being new, but big disappointment. Super fresh seafood and super friendly service! Coworkers and I stumbled upon this restaurant while craving seafood and we were... pleasantly surprised! This being the second time we ordered, I decided to order something different and get lobster fries andall shrimp. Wow! Holy LOBSTER! For a $10 order, I wasn't expecting much but I was SO wrong! The lady at register didn?t give me my change which was over $5. When I asked her about it, she pretended as if she didn?t know... what was going on. Oh, I didn?t give you the $5, she said. Oh boy , just finished some barbecue wings and a philly steak with my brother , , I think we need a round 2 because it was so... good. Wings freshly cooked , every time I took a bite you hear nice crunch of the chicken wing. Don?t get me started with thebanana pudding , nice and soft and creamy just how I like it.
