Nice restaurant upstairs and outside bar and outside tables on the first floor. Beautiful view of the beach on the second... floor. As far as the food. It's expensive (almost $100 for 3 meals + two salads + 3 non alcoholic drinks + 1 appetizer). Unfortunately two out of the three meals we ordered were not so good. The side items were burnt too. The side salad was reallysmall. If you want ice tea your only choice is unsweetened. No sugars or sweeteners on the table either which I thought wasweird. They do give you bread and butter for no charge though. Read more
Server leslie was fantastic, we had calamari(super tender), conch fritters(top notch super crunchy and moist) pretzel(crunchy on... outside moist inside dipping sauce excellent), clam chowder for apps eveything was very good. Entrees was grouper with risotto,coconut shrimp,French dip, mahi mahi with vegetables (this seasoned well but was way overcooked and dry 3.5 stars on this dish).Deserts cream brulee (one best i have ever had but very small for price),canoli,key lime pie, all was delicious. We love to eat so we always order plenty of items to get a broad idea of their menu. I was a bit dissappointed when we arrived... the greeter told us they had no seats downstairs, but they did upstairs so we went up just to find out they didnt have any seatsup there either. Then we came down and we were seated soon after, but just poor communication on their part. Overall theirservice was great and food was delicious. Will def. be back if I'm ever in the area! We had a wonderful lunch here. We ordered drinks, they came quickly and more drinks came quickly too. It took about an hour for... our food because it was dropped on the floor and had to be prepared again. I had the very berry salad with extra vinegrett andit was delicious. Lots of blackberries, strawberries, blueberries and creamy goat cheese on spring greens. My partner had theFrench dip which he said was great. We got a discount due to the hour long wait for our food. We weren't in a hurry as it is apleasant place to sit and enjoy the breeze off the gulf, but a few tables had come and gone while we waited, so that was a nicegesture. It was a busy night for them and we felt it. We had a party of 10 and were seated upstairs. I was hoping for an outside seating... so this was a first disappointment. It was hot and humid inside. My husband?s steak came a little late but was good. My sea basswith risotto was good. My son?s salmon was also good. Presentation of salmon plate was much better then sea bass. First visit for my wife and I. Great location! I had the Taco Trio and my wife had the Salmon Stack sandwich. Not terrific... selections. Taco shells fell apart due to wet greens (fresh spinach in a taco?) inside and had to eat with a fork. Serveroffered to replace one; I declined. Salmon sandwich was a sloppy construction and lacked overall taste and appeal. Service wasexcellent and friendly. Might try again, but not these lunch selections. Read more
