Normally I would give this restaurant 5+ stars as it?s been stellar for many, many years of dining pleasure. This visit wasn?t... quite up to snuff. We got the steak sandwich, which was good, but the bread was not like you used to have. I would describe itas a wide hotdog bun, and it didn?t stand up to the fillings and ended up being a big mess. We also got a salad with the steaksandwich topping. It was pretty disappointing to be honest. The salad itself was small and consisted only of iceberg lettuce,one thin slice of tomato and 2 cucumber slices. Of course the steak topping was good, it?s why we?ve been returning to Mama?syear after year. Not sure if these issues are glitches due to supply chain failures or just the restaurant trying to cut cornersto save money, but I know you can do better, and I?m looking forward to trying you again soon. Great little family owned Italian restaurant. Something tells me their Mom is the owner or the inspiration. The food was really... good and the prices were not that expensive. The place was small and the atmosphere was loud but once a big table left it was alot quieter. Would definitely come back here. Read more
I was a little nervous because I'm not to fond of NY style pizza. We were very pleased. We had the Joe's pizza as well as the... meats. Toppings were great and abundant, sauce was flavorful, plenty of cheese, and for the price, was a great value. We didcarryout so I can't speak for the service other than the Male host was a little curt. Maybe it was because it was takeout.Definitely consider Mamas when in town. Read more
Appropriately named, Mama's Italian Restaurant is like gathering at the dinner table. We were seated quickly and Maria, our... server, was friendly and attentive. Our portions of veal parmesan and spaghetti and meatballs were platter sized and tasty! Weordered a plate to go because the gravy was so delicious. It?s a nice place to go and have dinner. We didn?t have to wait to sit. The environment is really good. Food is tasty. Good... sangria, nothing special on the mozzarella. The baked pasta was good. The Alfredo sauce is delicious (I have a Alfredo saucerecipe in my YouTube channel if you want to), maybe a little more chicken for the plate portion and this dish would nailedit! Staff are friendly.
