Reviews for The Whiskey Biscuit in Englewood, CO
Food is solid, but for a place with whiskey in the name I'd expect a much better on-menu old fashioned. I was expecting... something that complimented the whiskey instead of hiding it behind undissolved sugar and muddled fruit fibers topped withsoda. I do understand that it's a style from the Midwest, but it does a disservice to better booze that often only needs atouch of simple, bitters, a good cherry, and a twisted orange peel garnish. With the old fashioned that's present on the menu, this gives me the impression that they do not know their whiskey despite their name. Otherwise everyone is super friendly andthis is a good choice for an easy brunch or concert adjacent grub. Read more
Solid little gastropub!! Very pleasantly surprised by this place. The menu is small and everything we tried tasted fresh, even... the fries. No sad freezer fries here. They shave theirs in a way that produces a superior texture, perfect for scooping theirdelicious green chili, which I could eat an entire bowl of. Unpretentious, simple, good food. Attentive, friendly service too. We'll be back! Read more
Nice place for food and drinks! We went on a Sunday afternoon and didn?t have to wait too long. Drinks and food both yummy, I... recommend the jalapeño popper dip with some extra bread! Read more

Update: thank you for taking the time to reply. I've never seen a restaurant consider themselves full when there was at least... 5 tables counted empty. Your hostess was the one that shared that we could not be seated due to the kitchen being behind. Thetwo people we saw working were very friendly. The animals you allow in your indoor dining area with no regard to your otherguests is why I will not return or recommend this small locally owned business. Holding a small dog in your lap at a dinnertable would not fit the four paws on the floor rule for working service animals. I am unaware of any cities or states thatrecognize birds as services animals. So there seems to be no justification. I saw one server taking care of your seatedtables, if a manager cannot assist the team or do table visits I cannot see how they would be good at taking care of customerfeedback.... hostess was friendly but not very efficient. Had to wait 20 minutes to be seated because the kitchen staff wasbehind and there was only one server. There was a person with a bird in the restaurant and a woman sitting at her table holdinga dog inside. The water tasted like mildew. Good whiskey selection and the food was fine. Will not go back due to animals inthe restaurant and the terrible water. Read more
Truly so amazing. The pricing & food quality really can?t be beat. Had the Monte Cristo & Jalapeño burger. OH AND THE FRIES.... never had fries that were so good. I recommend them 10x over! Our server (christina) she was an angel. They are so lucky tohave her. Read more
Went here for dinner before a concert down less than a block away at the Gothic. Incredibly good fried chicken sandwich (which I... opted to get tossed in a dry rub!), the fries were shaved off the potato, which gives them a really nice texture. Really nicebeer selection, and great service! It looks like they had a really nice outdoor seating area with firepits and stuff as well-would absolutely go again and maybe check those out on a slightly warmer evening! Read more
The Whiskey Biscuit was great. Full disclosure didn?t get a chance to eat or drink there because there was a pretty long wait... for a Sunday night and the bar was full, but everyone working was super nice. They did let me run to the bathroom real quick, soI figured I should atleast leave a review of the bathroom mirror. It was great, well lit, easy place to get a quick mirrorselfie taken for the ?gram Read more
