Very nice restaurant, and wonderful staff. I have been there several times and usually get the same server?her dad also checked... in on our table which made the place feel very family oriented and comfortable. THE FOOD THOUGH! Portales food is definitely anotch above the rest; they have a great happy hour menu and wonderful selections on the full menu. Everything is well seasonedand hot when served. I live in Wash Park and have been coming to Los Portales for years. The salsa is so good! I usually get the Mexican Steak which... is my personal favorite but my wife says the Fajitas are delicious as well. Prices are very reasonable. The staff is always niceand the service is quick even when it's busy. Really can't go wrong here. Highly recommend! Read more
My new favorite spot to order delivery from. I've had multiple dishes and they have all been excellent and thoughtfully packaged... for delivery. My only wish is that there would be an option to purchase chips and salsa for the delivery order. Please add thatoption! ???? Read more
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant starting with the staff everyone was polite and kind. The food was amazing! Great... salsa. We ordered the chili relleno burrito and the fajita burrito with green chili. Both are delicious options. I'm lookingforward to returning. Read more

This is my favorite family owned Mexican restaurant in englewood by far my family and I have been going here once a week every... week for years it?s family tradition the food is absolutely delicious authentic consistent and hits the spot the staff is lovelyattentive and you just truly feel like you?re a part of the family there. My favorite dish is a steak fajitas and their chickenchimichangas. you really can?t go wrong with anything on their menu I am also in love with their breakfast burritos I could eathere every day if I could. my family and I adore this place and we will keep coming back?siempre!
