VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS BBQ. Read the reviews they were great so that helped make my decision to try Marshall's. My husband... and I were very disappointed. This is not bbq. Sauce was too tangy for our liking, we like a more sweet smoked meat. They plop abunch of pulled pork not seasoned meet on a hamburger bun with no sauce and they call that a BBQ pulled pork sandwich. Familyowned but young girl taking the order was not friendly just straight to the point to order food. Way high price for nothinggood. $31 apprx for 1/2 rack of ribs, Texas toast, mac n cheese. Ouch... hardly no sides worth while you can get French friesanywhere nowadays, mac n cheese wasn't bad, but not hot more like cool medium. Definitely was not impressed. We pretty muchthrew away all of our food. It was such a waste. If this is what Texas BBQ taste like, you better go to Mississippi for the realdeal. This place is flat awesome. Wish I had taken better pictures. Best BBQ I've had in Texas and I've tried a lot of famous places.... Can't brag on them enough. Brisket is as good as my own and I don't have to tend a smoker 18 hours, that's saying something.Best stuffed jalapenos I've had. Smoked jalapeno creamed corn is the bomb, and all the sides are good. I moved out to the area from DFW? this was one of the best bbq joints I?ve ever been to!! Amazing meats. Great sides, and the... sweet tea was even great. This will definitely be our go to for some awesome Texas BBQ! Read more
This place is amazing!!! We stopped by on our trip from Austin and we loved it! You never know with BBQ places. But this... surpassed our greatest expectations. Very cute place, the owner obviously spent some time and money making it look like a niceBBQ place with a bit of modern to it (loved the fancy garage roll up windows).The customer service was excellent, friendly andhappy to help us. But most importantly? the BRISKET! The SAUSAGE! My daughter got lean brisket and I specifically asked forfatty brisket. Both were amazing and moist. Beans had fantastic taste with just a little bit of kick to them. Even the toast wasspectacular - not just the typical white piece of bread thrown down at some other BBQ joints. The food is awesome! We got the Marshall Plate and everything on it was cooked to perfection. The portions , in my opinion... were just about too much even for two people as we had leftovers! If your in the area it is well worth a visit, just comehungry!! Read more
