Reviews for Yocco's The Hot Dog King in Emmaus, PA
Yocco?s is a valley classic. Don?t expect anything fancy and then be whiny when it?s classic greasy drive thru food. This isn?t... the food for before yoga or on your way to zumba . This is for watching tv and passing out when you have off the next day.Underrated burgers. Their hotdogs are the only hotdogs I ever eat. Read more
First time I've ever stopped in after passing it my whole life well today 09/10/2022 I finally stopped in. The place was small... inside but clean including the bathrooms and behind the counter. The drive-thru line was long. I asked the cook for hisrecommendation and he said a cheese steak with fries and it did not disappoint. The experience was pleasant and is worthchecking out. I think I still owe it to them to try what they're known for and that's hotdogs. If the owner replies tell me whathotdog combo you think is best for the next time I pass by... Read more
Walked in to 5 people standing staring at us behind the counter, no greeting. Ordered 4 hot dogs, 2 with cheese and onion and 2... with chili and cheese, and then a small sprite that we changed to a medium at the end. In the process of the hot dog making Ioverheard the two staff members conversing and one asking the other ?are you screwing me up here?? And the other replied ?nothis is this one? So after paying and leaving, got into the car and didn?t understand the abbreviations on any of them becausethey were all made with chili on them and not sure with or without anything else but clearly cheese wasn?t present on any. Idon?t understand how it was so hard to make 2 of each the same. Sad. Read more
Good food: hot dogs, hamburgers, steak sandwiches, fries, pierogies. My wait at the drive thru was way TOO LONG (20 minutes)... and there wasn't enough sauce on my hot dog or steak. Note: This is a Cash Only place. Read more
Save your money and stop at a gas station and get a hotdog. It was overcooked and looked like it had been around for days. ... Very disappointing for a place that calls itself the hot dog king. Read more
Five stars, worth driving for. This is a classic hot dog joint with all the real retro - not kitschy wannabe stuff - decor.... People were great, interior was great, and the food was solidly on point. My picky daughter scarfed two dogs and an order offries before proclaiming it her favorite in PA. Read more
Still the King of Hot Dogs in the Lehigh Valley. A traditional hot dog with everything (chili, mustard, onions) and some... perogies is such an excellent combination. I'm not a valley native, but apparently chocolate milk is the drink of choice, butI'm not there yet. Their cheesesteaks are different than a traditional cheesesteak, but still good. The workers at thislocation have always been very friendly too, it's like they pass a corporate culture to each other. Anyways, I really likeYocco's. Read more
