Food was decent, but it felt like they tried too hard to have healthy/ make it the way you like it options that took away from... the flavor (wheat, tomato, spinach tortillas). Read more

As salvadoreño… I do not consider this a Salvadoran restaurant like they claim the pupusas are not authentic, the salsa is... Mexican style, they don’t have rice or loroco pupusas when’d I try to order, is silly really to try to sell a traditionaldish to people when they can replicate the recipe… it makes me sad honestly. Homemade-style comfort food. I’ve been here 5+ times and loved enchiladas verdes (super moist chicken and limey sauce) and... tacos de pollo (crisp edges on that grilled chicken!). The closest I’ve found in the Bay Area to homemade! Thank you, Cassave! Read more

Final found a place here in the East Bay, that had the type of torta I have been looking for. The pollo empanizado, a type of... breaded chicken sandwich, I tried searching on Yelp for chicken milanesa torta and only other place I found that had it wasPicante, but they charge $11+, and their tortas aren't a good as other Mexican places in my opinion. The pollo emanizado tortahere is just like the ones I used to get in SF Mission district, and at a much more reasonable $9. Read more

The plates were delicious. They give a bowl of tortilla chips with your order and there is a small salsa bar.

Good & cheap.. I love the chicken soup from here & my husband always gets a super burrito. Staff is friendly & service is... quick. It's a bit of a hole in the wall spot, but we like it. Read more

They make a pretty good burrito. The ingredients are fresh and good quality. The self-serve salsa bar is off the hook. I love... the hot salsas. I have yet to try the enchiladas or other dishes but I will soon. Read more

My go-to Mexican restaurant for Emeryville-Oakland border. Folks here are pleasant and the food they serve are delicious. If you... want authentic food and authentic people, this is the spot. If you want gentrified Mexican food, head to the Public Market andpay almost twice as much. The dish I uploaded is the Mexico City's tacos. Read more
