Shake is in the name. Very good shakes. Enjoyed burgers and fries with the family recently. Quality is good. Service is... order on kiosk then you get your number called when ready at counter. She didn't speak very loud so I missed it beforerealizing there was an order waiting... It was ours. Must use kiosk to order (I think) which was a bit of a challenge butmanaged. Read more

Let's start with how long it's been since this place actually allowed customers to eat in....it's been closed for dine in... service pretty much throughout COVID. We saw they were allowing dine in and decided to stop, this is actually good. After seeinghow nasty they keep it inside I will never eat here again. With as much time as they had with absolutely zero foot traffic,there is no excuse for the place to be this dirty. I would question the mother that felt comfortable putting their child inthese booster seats. Walking in, your feet stuck to the sticky unwashed floors. For an establishment that was so avid aboutCOVID and grems... pretty sure they have since dropped the ball. If this is what the dinning room looks like, how and the helldo they keep the kitchen, or the refrigerator!!! I would not be surprised if this place goes out of business sooner rather thanlater....and it will be best for the entire community, if they don't clean up their act. You've been warned. Read more
Steak 'n Shake used to be a favorite fast food eatery, however, their removal of wait staff has both diminished the experience... and has led the front of the house to be unpleasantly untidy making you wonder what goes on in the kitchen. And the menu hasbeen simplified to accomodate the new ordering computer interfaces, which while simple to use also print on the screen how muchyour bill is such large type you could probably read it from the next county. Was not greeted by a friendly employee but was yelled at by an employee that it would be an about an hour wait because there was... only three people working. We were fine because we had a couple hours to kill before movie. It was not an hour wait and thestaff beyond rude what ever happened to a smile and a thank you for coming here so we can stay open if this place gets shut downit's the staffs fault. Read more
Always loved steak n shake. Was happy to see the dining room finally opened more. Drove out of the way and at 8:40pm the doors... were locked even with people in the lobby. My boyfriend will not go through the drive-line so we left. Very let down. Read more
With no one in line, slow service from taking order to delivery. No dining room or restroom access. Bring the only customer and... after ten minutes of watching employees "hang out" inside, they handed two single burgers, cold fries and a shake out thewindow. There were at least four employees that we could see at the time. Too bad because the burgers weren't terrible. Read more
Wow!! What a change! No wait staff! Dirty tables! Kiosks! Onion rings looked like blobs! 3 people working! Wanted to eat there... but got it bagged up and ready to go. No nice plated food with a milkshake in a TALL glass no friendly smiles! I bet theoriginal founder is rolling in his grave! I was waiting for a robot to throw us our food. Will not be back. Read more
