The food was old and should have been thrown out a week ago. The prices were outrageous. 8 bucks for 2 pieces of overcooked dead... a month ago bacon. The biscuits and gravy appeared to be mixed up old corned beef and fermenting country gravy. The biscuitsseemed to have been heated up in a microwave. It was inedible and sadly I paid too much for a dish that I couldn't choke down 3bites of. My husband had 1 sausage link that was cooked the other raw, pink and cold. Eggs were also the same way one hard theother over easy. The staff, 1 needs to shower desperately and quit chasing people who choose to leave the establishment,without eating, asking why they are not staying. One server slopped coffee across the table and left leaving us to clean upafter him. The waiter with colored hair was friendly, and was at a disadvantage with poor food and other staff. He deserves muchbetter. Absolutely disgusting, I have fed pigs better food. Read more
Roger took great care of me and my girlfriend! I had the pulled pork patty melt. It was delicious and that homemade bread is... amazing. The pandemic fries are also worth checking out, but definitely enough food to feed two or more people fully. Read more
This was a great place to stop and eat. Conveniently located in Ely off the highway, this restaurant offers tasty home style... food. Plenty of food options from burgers to BBQ. The onion rings are tasty. A favorite is the blackberry and bacon grilledcheese. Delish! Service is friendly. Very pro-American and pro-troop/law enforcement. Loved it!! Read more
Not much to say on this one. Food was almost average, but the wait to be seated 10 min) get drinks (10 min), and food 45+ min)... was horrible. We even asked what they could bring out quickly, which was a salad and that took at least 20 min. We saw peoplewalking out because how bad things were. If things are taking that long, it looks bad when wait staff are laughing with friendsrather than bring food out. Maybe it was something in the kitchen. My wife order soup, but that came out last and was obviouslythe bottom of the pot. Read more
Had an excellent breakfast at Nardis! Went with some friends before heading out of Ely, and I was impressed with the effort the... employees make into welcoming you. I had the Nardis Breakfast, which is just your basic bacon and eggs setup, but came with ahomemade biscuit and their potatoes. The homemade baked goods really set this place apart; the gigantic cinnamon rolls lookfantastic! My friends, who got the burrito and chicken fried steak, were similarly impressed with the food. Amazing food. Very nice staff. You wont find a $5 burger here but who wants a $5 burger when here you will get a as good as ... home cooked meal that will more than fill you up. Read more
If you are visiting Ely and looking for a yummy, hometown place for breakfast or lunch, definitely hit this place! I had the... fries and grilled cheese on sourdough. Man, that sandwich, I am going to remember it a long time! Bonus points for serving Pepsiproducts! Currently they are closed Tues and Weds. Read more
Wow, best biscuits and gravy ever! Then I saw they serve the homemade biscuits served with a breakfast... Hubs always orders rye... and that was homemade too. Beautiful marble rye. Definitely go here. I will be back. Oh, limited hours in the either 8 am-2pm Read more
