I had a splendid time over Canada Day weekend. I loved that they had special cocktails on Canada Day (Manitoba martini was... superb!). Cocktails were done just perfect. I had a featured ribs dinner the next day and it was great! Lastly, the service wasnothing but amazing and prompt. Read more
The location was arguably the highlight of eating at this particular restaurant; it is located in central downtown Elora. The... service was painfully slow and the servers and hosts seemed to struggle with coordinating who was to seat customers, who was torefill water glasses, and who was to check in to see how the meal was going. It took some 45-50 minutes to get our food and saidfood was average in terms of taste and above average in terms of price. The $25 burger was lukewarm but the patty was thick andcame with a decent variety of toppings. The fries were small but well seasoned. We considered ordering dessert but the whopping$16 price tag on the cheesecake shut down that idea right quick. Decent enough food but with such competition in terms ofrestaurants in this area, the relatively high price tags on the menu items, coupled with the slow service, might make itdifficult for The Badley to survive in the long term. Opened in April I was told. Small place but a nice bar. Big outside patio. Cheese board was great with unusual stuff. Hamburger... with blue cheese yummy. Steak and frits was good but you thin for rare. Smiles were great to. Read more
Limited menu selection but if you are going to do the few things, do them well. Bradley burger was very good especially with... blue cheese. I have never tasted a better crispy chicken sandwich. Whole chunks of chicken (somehow holding together) inside a crunchy shell... of fried goodness, with spicy aioli and bread and butter pickles.
