I've been attending the Elmwood Park Diner for 17 years! Nick the owner is great! He has his son Andy and his children working... there too! Nick recently renovated the Diner. The food is always delicious whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner and hisstaff is amazing. I've tried other diners in the area but the EP Diner is the best! Read more

This is more about the service and people who work here than anything else. We were really tired and hungry after a busy,... expensive weekend and wanted to spend as little money as possible on a meal before heading home. We rolled up to this dineraround 7 and were immediately greeted by a friendly hostess. We seated five at a couple of tables and the waitress was rightthere with a smile and attentiveness we don't get at our local place in town. We placed our orders and had a nice conversationwith her. She showed genuine interest in our lives, our kids, and related her own stories to us. As we sat and ate, she visitedour table a number of times to check if we needed anything else all the while making sure she showed the same attention to anyother customers she was waiting on. The food was good, the prices were more than fair. When I went to pay the bill I hadanother nice conversation with the hostess who was super friendly and kind. As we were walking out we left with smiles on ourfaces and promises to return if we are ever in the area again. We're tempted to drive the half hour it takes to get here just tovisit again. The staff here are nice and welcoming. But the breakfast wasn?t so good. We had the elm wood breakfast sampler and French toast... with two eggs. The food taste bland and felt like it was made with no love. The orange juice taste like powered sunny D. Thecoffee was ok and the pancakes were good. This was my first time but my last time.
