We really like this restaurant. Quality good food, great service and outdoors. Good bar. I have a few things I wish they did... differently. First, they seem to have a spicy twist to everything. Even the spaghetti sauce was so hot we couldn’t eat it. Notreally my taste. Second, the calamari is very tasty but the appetizer comes with all sorts of non calamari items fried in therelike lemon wedges, jalapeños etc. I mistook one for calamari and it ruined my palette for the rest of our meal. Also, verylittle amount, maybe 10 strips or so of calamari is too little for how much they charge I think. Other than these few items, welike their food. Read more
Delicious! I was taken there for my birthday. I had never been. We ate outside. The service was good, the food was outstanding.... My chicken was the Chicken Picatta. Juicy, not dry at all. 2 huge skinless, boneless breasts that were delectable. The chickenparm I did not eat, it was ordered by someone else, but he enjoyed it. Read more
Highly recommend to come here for your next lunch or dinner date or a night or day out with friends! Made reservations last... minute on open table for a belated birthday. Due to the storm the reservations were pushed back so as tables opened they wereoffering seating as the order of reservation. There was two seats available at the bar so my friend I and took it instead of ahigh table or booth option! Even being sat at the bar the service was amazing! Unfortunately I didn’t get both of thebartenders name, but they were both so great and attentive and gave great recommendations. They also didn’t rush us especiallywhen we were there close to closing time. Atmosphere and decor is beautiful. They have small plates and entrees! The food cameout quickly less than 10 min and was so fresh and so much flavor! Great drinks too from beer, cocktails and wine! Went in for a late lunch. Both food and service were great. I’ve never tried the pasta here, so we opted for that and the... dishes were delicious. I had the paccheri vodka and my mom got the linguine fini carbonara. I also got the cocktail calledfalling for peaches and it tasted great! Read more
My girlfriend and I live like an hr and a half away. We run and manage a Neapolitan pizzeria there and have had quite a few... pizzas in our day. Our usual date day is Monday since we have a lighter work load that day. I looked up AVPN certified pizzeriasnear us and we had already tried San Giorgio in Milwaukee and Il Ritrovo in Sheboygan. Gia Mia was next on the list and we had awonderful experience. Huge surprise that pizzas were half on Mondays, honestly awesome deal! We ordered a bbq chicken pizza,sausage calabrese, harvest pie, and a beef short rib gnocci. Pizzas were excellent, soft crust and cooked to perfection. Thesauce was very good and I'm glad I tried the bbq chicken one, as it isn't a typical Neapolitan offering, very good pizza. Lovecalabrian chile peppers. The gnocci was also very good, the beef short rib fell apart in your mouth. I had a Solemn Oath hazyipa and a Penrose hazy ipa, the Solemn Oath was amazing and Penrose was good. She had a blood orange smash and a glass of cab,the blood orange smash was delicious and she enjoyed the cabernet sauvignon. Our waitress was prompt and brought out our ordersas soon as they were ready, she was also very polite and informative about any questions we had. We also wanted to watch thepizzaiolos work the dough at the end of our visit and one of them showed us his stretching technique. We thoroughly enjoyed GiaMia Pizza Bar. Please visit this place if you love authentic neapolitan pizza, the best on the menu is the burrata pie, The pastas are good... too. They even have heated igloos in winter If you visit on Monday pizzas are 50% off. Read more
