Wonderful breakfast buffet that features local favorites such as Swedish pancakes, tart cherries topping, decadent pecan rolls,... crisp yummy bacon and breakfast sausages, delicious egg lasagna casserole and much much more. Very affordable and attractivepricing. This is a must stop breakfast buffet for every visit up to our door county vacation home. Happy cheery sunshiny andcozy vibe with waterfront views. Wish we had this place in the Chicago suburbs!! I love this place!!! Read more

This was my first fish boil. I was excited but left let down. I thought the story would be more entertaining and geared... towards kids rather than history lesson. I got bored and went to the bar. The line was a little long but a lady jumped in tohelp out. The buffet ran out of certain foods and not restocked. By the time us 6 adults and 5 kids were done, most of thedessert was gone. Again, not restocked. For what we paid, really big disappointment. Read more

I stopped in here with a friend of mine for the Sunday brunch, and it was a great experience overall. Some of the food wasn't... anything to write about, but other items were excellent. The service was courteous, friendly, and efficient. The Sunday brunchis a bit pricey, but the price is right because you get prime rib with it. I enjoyed a fairly thick cut of prime rib, which wassolid if not remarkable. I treated myself to stuffing, mashed potatoes, potato pancakes, american fries, turkey, and sausages, among other items. I am not a big breakfast sausage person, but the sausage on the buffet was excellent. The stuffing was notgreat, but stuffing is stuffing. What really stood out were the american fries. Those were the best I've ever had. There were anumber of other items I did not have, but all looked very good. Most reviews talk about the cinnamon rolls. Those lookedamazing, but I was too full to try them. If you bring your appetite and have some prime rib, the brunch buffet is a prettysolid value. Read more

We went for the fish boil in September of 2017. It was great. The outdoor experience with the story telling right by the lake... was fun. The meal afterwards was perfect. Loved the traditional meal of boiled fish WITH onions (I know there is controversy inthat department, but growing up we ALWAYS had onions). They also had other things on the buffet like fried fish, Swedishmeatballs, etc, which were good. They of course had some desserts on the buffet, which included door county cherries, also verygood. However, don't come here expecting it to be the Four Seasons. It's rustic, simple, and fun. It is really about theexperience, possibly memories for those who grew up with this, and good quality food. The food itself is probably 3.5-4 stars, but the overall experience puts it at a 5-star experience. I cannot speak to brunch or other dining experiences here, as I onlyhave come for the fish boil during the summer season. Read more
