*** UPDATE*** 7/12 Bases on the owners response updated my previous review: I would never make "false statements" just the facts... and nothing about not being nice - thats ridiculous. Not a true statement. However, I failed to mention that we were moved uponrequest after checking on availability in the front room with the comment "its reserved for our regulars". This what we arereacting to. However - apologies and bad on my end for not mentioning that. That was very accomondating. However, my wife heardme leave on the message (in some amount of words) "requesting the front room". If you have that recording and it was not on itthen bad on us again. It is true when you called to confirm i did not mention that request as i assumed it was set (never assumeanything). I failed to mention there was not a word of my wifes birthday the whole time we were there (not a biggie though).Again for all the years we have been coming there, there has never been a bad meal or experience. We have brought our friendsthere we like it so much. The food and service is always outsatnding as it was on 7/8 YUM ! We have frequented Da Lepri sincethey opened. We are not regulars but for special occasions we go. The reatuarant was closed for vacation but as in the past theyalways take your message and call back to confirm the reservation This was for my wifes birthday this past Friday 7/8. While thefood and service (best waitress Emma) is always excellent the 'vibe' has turned snooty for lack of a better word. We hadrequested the front room but were escorted to the back room. When we indicated we requested the front room we were succintlytold by the hostess "no you didn't" and that is reserved for "our regulars". As in any establishment there will be regulars butit 'feels' like if you are not a regular then you are out of place. They serve top quality food and never have had a bad dish(menu is limited). Every single dish is perfectly composed, and they readily accommodate all food allergies!! We loved the calamari, meatballs, and... burrito apps - plus the delicious seasonal specials: the pork chop and Pavlova (pictured). Highly recommend the ElderflowerMartini as well. This is a 10/10 with expert level service and even accommodations for kids. Read more
I knew we were in for a special evening beginning with my initial phone call to make a reservation. Deborah, the owner, was so... accommodating, the apex of customer service. Our first time at the restaurant and was wowed the entire evening. From the serviceto the food, top notch! I chose the restaurant based on online reviews, so glad we did. Trattoria Da Lepri is a wonderful Italian restaurant. Went there for New Years Eve dinner 2021/2022. The calamari was incredible... on a bed of greens mixed with a limoncello sauce. Also had the Salmon with fingerling potatoes and carrots, also excellent.Ambience was very nice with light music. Our waitress was very nice as well with excellent service. Finished the evening withsome wonderful vanilla bean ice cream from Foster's of Avon. All around excellent time was had by our entire party. Lookingforward to going back soon. Read more
Dinner at Trattoria was perfection! Seating was roomy, yet cozy and intimate. However, the star of the show was the Braised... Beef & Truffle Pappardelle??which was scrumptious. I highly recommend visiting in the near future. Read more
This lovely Italian restaurant was a delight in so many ways. The service was good, the wine excellent, the ambience spot on. We... had dinner for five; I reveled in the salmon; stuffed with shrimp and crab and a cream sauce. Even the fingerling potatoes andveggies were crisp and superb. Mother and sister had a special; pan-seared halibut with broccoli and carrots. Vegan son foundsome delicious butternut squash ravioli, hold the cheese, and father proclaimed it the "best restaurant he had ever visited"over his calamari salad. He is given to superlatives. Dessert was the flourless chocolate cake, a pyramid of creamy chocolate,topped with whipped cream and a strawberry garnish. My lady and I never get take out because we?re usually disappointed but whoa! First time trying this place and they knocked it... out of the park. I got the short ribs, my lady got the shrimp scampi and we shared the cannoli?s for dessert. Everythingexceeded our expectations. We will definitely be going back for a dine in experience next time. My wife and I had heard about this restaurant for years but this was our first time. Food was exceptional. Lynn, our server,... made our visit even more enjoyable as she stopped by and talked with us about shared experiences. I recommend this place as thereal deal without reservation. Read more
