Reviews for Cantaberry in Ellijay, GA
Food was great! I got the country fried steak and she got the thanksgiving chicken special. 4/5 because the appetizer of the... cheese sticks was good but the marinara dipping sauce tasted a little different but still good. We would recommend! Mashedpotatoes were definitely homemade and Mac n cheese was baked. Read more
Randomly selected this eatery because the rooftop was not open at our original choice. No worries. Cantaberry was fine. A nice... variety of sandwiches, salads and soups. I had the spinach salad with raspberry vinaigrette dressing and the small size wasenough for lunch. Fresh ingredients and service with a smile. You won?t go wrong here. Read more
Had some stuffed mushrooms to start and they were some of the best I've had. My buddy ordered country fried steak with mashed... potatoes and I ordered the meatloaf with green beans and squash casserole. The CFS was excellent, crispy and well seasoned witha white gravy and the mashed potatoes were awesome. The green beans and squash casserole were well cooked and tasty. Themeatloaf was good, but was outshined by everything else that I ate tonight. Read more
The food here is absolutely amazing! The staff was so knowledgeable and friendly. Great selection of food to choose from. Their... daily soup selection is amazing and clearly the soups are made from scratch. They have a great selection of desserts, includingthe peanut butter cheesecake I tried. That cheesecake was truly incredibly delicious. I had cream of chicken and wild rice soupand it was so great. I also had the turkey chef salad which was extremely fresh and so yummy. My babe had a Cuban sandwich andshe thought it was quite delicious. I highly recommend this place!! Read more
Cantaberry is a great little restaurant on town square, in Downtown Ellijay that serves upscale sandwiches, soups, and desserts.... We stopped in on a cold, rainy day and were seated immediately by a friendly hostess and wait staff. My wife had the French dipsandwich with chicken wild rice soup and I had the grilled cheese sandwich with tomato basil soup. Everything we had wasexcellent. The tomato soup caught me off guard a little bit as it's more of a bisque, creamy and sweeter than I expected. That'snot a complaint, for the record. We had the million dollar cake for dessert, which was rich, creamy, and satisfied that sweettooth that we had. My only suggestion would be to serve the soups WITH the sandwiches, instead of beforehand. Grilled cheese, especially, begs for tomato soup and my soup was cold by the time the sandwich arrived. We will definitely be back. Read more
Delicious. Really attentive and kind employees, Delicious draft hard apple cider beer that I must say pairs impeccably with the... salad made with fresh Macintosh Apples and candied pecans on a bed of spinach with thinly sliced onions and raspberryvinaigrette. I will definitely be back, I thoroughly enjoyed myself and didn't spend an arm and a leg to do it. This was myfirst time visiting. We sat out on the patio. Very cute, charming little place in Ellijay. Read more
I was in Ellijay for Christmas. There were very few restaurants open due to the holiday weekend, but this restaurant handles the... rush really well. And there are multiple people in our party oh, but they got every order right and the food came promptly.Everything tasted great, my niece has raved about how good the soup was. The desert was huge. Delicious soups and sandwiches, friendly servers, and cute atmosphere. Our party had the honey turkey club, Reuben, chicken wild... rice soup and tomato soup. All were hot, fresh, and delicious. Even the kids meals were tasty - grilled cheese on fresh, thickwheat bread and cheeseburger. Service was very fast! Will definitely be back when in the area. Read more
