This place is mainly focused on ?to-go? orders. We dined in and waited almost 40 minutes ( we ordered one appetizer, three... drinks, two green curry and a plate of sweet and sour pork dish ). Drinks were good and came out fast. Green curry tasted goodbut too much coconut milk which resulted in overwhelming sweetness of the dish.Sweet and sour pork was too water down ( theycould have used more corn starch to thicken up the sauce, and super thin pork slices which wasn?t much in the dish). Prices wereon the expensive side especially on the drinks and appetizers. We also had a pad Thai to go, it was good. Overall, I give threestars based on wait time and mediocre flavors. OUTSTANDING, freshly made Thai food, at a very reasonable price. Fun atmosphere, extremely friendly service. Very simple, modern... decor, and a solid menu with good variety from which to choose. Anyone who loves Thai food knows that "Thai hot" is MUCH hotterthan most American palettes are expecting, so if you love "Thai hot" you're in for a treat! ...and if you've never had Thaispices, order with caution. Amazing lunch today; our first time trying these guys and I was very impressed. Service was good, prices are reasonable and it... only took 15 minutes to produce a large amount of food. Everything was amazing. Hot and fresh, high quality. Would not change asingle thing about the meal. Serving sizes are satisfactory, especially the curry. Calamari was perfection. We?re visiting Washington from Michigan, and I?m only bummed I went here because that means I know how good the food is and I?ll... probably never have it again haha. Food was amazing, vegan friendly, and service was great. They said 30 minute wait and it wasmore like 15! Thai iced tea can be made vegan with coconut cream and it was amazing, but very rich. The flavours of the foodwere great, not too greasy, and the perfect amount of Thai basil. Spice I recommend 2 or 3, it was pretty spicy. Here's a couple things to know about Seng Tong: 1) Order ahead by phone or plan to wait!!! All the food is cooked to order... which means it's really good quality but takes a large chunk of time to make. We were told before we ordered it would take 40minutes, we received our food in 30. They have a nice lobby and you can have your Thai Tea (very tasty), bottle of water, etcwhile you wait. 2) be very confident about your preferred spice level (1-5) as level 2 was significant for me on the curry. 3)Know that an order of curry is really too much for one person to eat. The container is about 1/2 of a quart, I think? If I hadknown I would have ordered something smaller since I'm on the road... nothing wrong with too much food, especially since it isexcellent food :) We had the Chicken Satay Skewers appetizer, Red curry with pork (spice level 2) and Garlic chicken (spicelevel 3). 1 side of rice was included. My Other Half loved the Garlic chicken. It is heavy on veggies (carrot and broccoli). Iwish I had ordered one spice level down on the curry. It is delicious, full of flavor and bell peppers were cooked perfectly,not mushy. When we received our order it was all very hot and fresh. First time here and I'm very impressed. 5 stars was actually spicy. Most Thai restaurants 5 stars are like 2 stars here. Food... was delicious. I will stop by again for dinner. Read more
