Reviews for Sushi Zento & Grill in St Augustine Beach, FL
Ordered chicken teriyaki with fried rice, got what looks like fajita vegetables instead of rice. Starving and on a time cruch so... I didn't make the 15 minute trip back to the restaurant to ask for rice. Edited to add: these guys reached out to meimmediately to try and resolve the issue with my order! I haven't had time to call back yet but I'll definitely be back...it'srare these days that you find a business that is willing to make their customers happy! Read more
Although our experience was less than perfect, the management reached out to us and I am adjusting my post accordingly. Every... one has an off day. Very relaxing and lovely atmosphere. Fair pricing and the pictures speak for themselves. Read more

Great value for sushi near the beach, especially for lunch. I got the 3 roll lunch special with spicy tuna, snow krab, and... Alaskan. All were tasty but the spicy tuna was my favorite. I like how generous they were with the ginger too. Husband got theshrimp tempura bento box. The tempura batter tasted very fresh. Ordering online was easy. We will be back next time we're intown. I would like to give Sushi Zento & Grill 4.5 stars. It was a nice surprise that they offer clear soup and a Holiday roll... appetizer (deep fried) with every meal. We went for dinner one night and lunch (my teen son wanted to have a bento box) 2 dayslater. The service was very friendly and attentive. For dinner, my son had the udon bowl and I had Da Bomb roll. Both were good, not great (7.5 out of 10). I’m not a fan of cooked sushi, so the Da Bomb roll was not a good choice for me. They have MANYcooked sushi rolls, if you’re into that. For lunch, the bento boxes (salmon & shrimp tempera) were better — very good (8out of 10). The portion size of the salmon was generous but was covered/smothered in teriyaki sauce. The restaurant seems torely on sauces on their sushi and other dishes for flavor. The great surprise treat was dessert — as you can see from thepresentation in the picture. My son chose derp-fried cheesecake, which was good but I would have preferred it without thebatter. Definitely worth a visit but don’t expect world-class sushi. (It is in a strip msll, after all. ???? Enjoy! Read more
What a splendid resturant. The wait staff were very attentive, professional and never left me wanting for anything. Promptly... came with the bill when requested. The food was very good. The clear soup a perfect first appetizer. The portions wereplentiful and appropriate. The fish was cool and delicious. I really enjoyed myself. I went on a Saturday night and was notbusy. This is a hidden gem with an appropriate high score. Save yourself the long wait times elsewhere and give this place yourtime. Read more

Ordered chicken and steak hibachi. Steak was cooked to perfection, some of the chicken was dry and some was juicy, but the sauce... masked most of that. The noodles and rice weren't slathered in sauce which made the noodles good, but the rice not as. Veggieswere nice. The service was amazing. And the holiday roll was incredible. The rock and roll sushi was good too. Definitely oneof the best Hibachi places I've been too. (NOTE: doesn't have sit down hibachi) Read more
