I've read a lot of great things about this place but we weren't really super impressed. For an appetizer we chose the conch... fritters. They were okay, I highly recommend lemon juice on them. I heard afterwards that the onion rings are the way to go. Formy entree, I chose the crab burger with fries and a side salad, It was alright. The side salad is just lettuce, a lot of onionand two tomatoes in a small bowl. My crab burger was good but it fell apart after one bite and was just mush. Difficult to eatin sandwich form. My husband chose the soft shell crab and shrimp. He loved the shrimp but wasn't too sure about the soft shellcrab. We come here every week. Delicious fish choices (it's so good I always get the fresh fish)..Mahi, salmon, wahoo, flounder,... grouper, but dinner portions. Great hush puppies and side choices are amazing. 2 sides per order allowed, broccoli saladamazingly perfect. Look at these homemade onion rings! That was an appetizer for our table. I stopped in today for a quick to-go order. From the time I ordered to the time I received my meal was less than 5 minutes. The... portions were very generous and the sandwich was so good! We were looking for a low-key but quality dining experience that would compliment a coastal vacation and were very happy with... this place. Their scallops especially were perfect (we recommend blackened) and the waitress was friendly and attentive. Looks can be deceiving! This restaurant may not look high class but the food sure is. We had great customer service and... excellent food. The table had raw oysters, cold crab shrimp scallops etc. We also had oyster stew. Everything was really goodand we highly recommend it. Read more
