Wow let me tell you I?ve been waiting to get into this place and man it was worth the wait! The server was super sweet and knows... the menu. Started with short ribs and bread. Perfectly seasoned and yummy. Had to have a bourbon so either one is perfect. Beetsalad is fresh and crisp. The French dip was delicious as was the fish tacos. I was excited to visit this new location that recently opened in Downtown St Augustine. The decor is very tasteful, modern... finishes with a classic look. We dined indoors as the weather did not cooperate for us to enjoy the outdoor rooftop experience.All of the food was tasty and well prepared. The food was quality fine dining, even though the atmosphere was very relaxed andcasual. They don't take reservations. We came for lunch and it was not a peak time so we did not have to wait for a table, butwith the great location and food, they said to anticipate at least 45 min - an hour wait time for dinner service. We were told an hour and a half wait time, it ended up being right at 2 hours. I know they are a very popular and busy place... though. We are locals and have been wanting to try this place ever since they opened. The atmosphere was beautiful, the staffwas prompt and informative. Our server was very knowledgable about the menu which was helpful because we had a hard timedeciding! Interesting menu, with a little twist on traditional dishes. The food was absolutely delicious. I felt that overall itwas great experience other than the long wait time. We will go back, but probably for a special occasion as this place is a tadpricey. Read more

Fantastic!! If I could give this restaurant more stars I would. Absolutely amazing location with wonderful views. Our server,... Marlou, was excellent. This definitely has been our favorite dining experience on this trip. The food and drinks were excellentand each one had a unique spin on it. They were plated perfectly and you could tell every detail was thought out in the dishes.Ask for the bread, it?s not on the menu, but is a must have!! This place was mobbed on the weekend so we waited until Mondaynight and luckily had no wait. They don?t take reservations. I highly recommend checking this place out. Read more

Fantastic new restaurant. Warning - get there early - they don?t take reservations. We went for lunch. Started with a ?Bourbon... and Berries?- very tasty. Good balance of both, so it wasn?t too sweet and you could taste both flavors (bourbon andblackberry). Very, very good - maybe my new favorite drink! We both ordered the beet salad. It comes with Almond butter on theplate, but we ask for it on the side. While the almond butter went well enough with the flavor of the beets, I?m glad it was onthe side- I didn?t use it and the salad was still excellent. My husband and I split the Ocean Platter - it had 2 scallops, 3shrimp and a medium sized piece of fish. All were cooked perfectly- not over cooked! Moist and nicely seasoned. First the food was delicious and presented beautifully! Second the customer service was superb! My daughter is extremely... allergic to milk, dairy and shellfish. Chelsea the GM took the time to sit with her and discuss safe food options. The kitchenthen created a special dinner for her that was off menu and safe for her to eat. My sister and I had the most wonderful dinner here on our vacation to Anastasia Island. The location and views were amazing. We... had a cozy little spot on the outdoor patio. The food was amazing, hands-down the best around. Our server?s name was Amelia andshe could not have done a better job. Very attentive and personable without hovering and also was very familiar with the menuand was able to easily answer my questions. The GM even came over to say hello. River + Fort was impressive all the way aroundand the best dining experience I?ve had to date. I can?t wait to go back. Read more

Views from rooftop bar are spectacular and definitely don't disappoint. Menu is very limited upstairs though...just flatbreads... and wings. They have a ton of outdoor space on the first floor patio, where they serve the full menu. Great ambiance right onthe bay with views of the fort. Staff were great and very attentive. For it only being open less than a week, it was amazinghow smoothly it ran. My drink (gunpowder & guava) and the pickle hushpuppies were my favorites. Since they had only been open afew days when we went, the chef would not allow for substitutions or modifications to any of the meals (including swapping outsides). The server said that this will only be for a few months or so while the kitchen is getting more familiar with the menu.Just a heads up if you have any picky eaters in your group; you might want to call ahead of time to see if this is still thecase or make sure the menu will work for you as is.
