Holy Havana, Batman!! This place was the "best find" on our 2022 trip to St Augustine. Between the 4 of us we had 2 different... Cuban sandwiches, rice & beans, a salad and an empanada. Everything was authentic and exceptional. The staff is friendly,smiling and obviously enjoying themselves. The interior was cheerfully decorated and Cuban music was playing. There was dine-inspace and even a small patio. The whole thing... The food, the staff, the ambiance make this place a "must". And don't forgettheir coffee. You must try their coffee !!! Read more

We popped in for coffee and ended up grabbing a muffin an pastelito for breakfast. The muffins were gigantic and the guava and... cheese pastelito is the thing dreams are made of. My wife had a cafe con leche and I grabbed a bombon. The espresso wasextremely smooth and not bitter tasting. I would say it is definitely the best coffee we had in the area. Mi Familia! They know me by name, that says a lot because I don?t get to visit as much as I?d like to. Everyone is sweet,... caring, and professional, and they do their best to serve you. The food is excellent; they are new and are growing with thecommunity. For me, their pricing is fair. Additionally, pricing Is not the only factor in reviewing a place or service. Theirservice and attention to detail bring value. What?s essential for me is value, and they got it. They get busy at times; there'ssomething good happening there if they are visited by many. However, somehow, tables open up pretty much quickly. I recommendthem; they?ll put a smile on your face. I kindly add that considering grace and realistic expectations in our service industryis a way to go; we've been through some rough patches collectively. Yes! Real deal Cuban coffee and food. It's an odd travel thing for me, but I always try to find a Cuban coffee in any city we... visit. Paladar did not disappoint! Cafe con leche is spot on, perfect amount of sugar and milk. Also sampled several of thebakery items (breakfast time), and was extremely impressed. Ham coquettes were legit. Also got an amazing chocolate chip cookiefor later in the day. I would absolutely go out of my way to get to Paladar again! Very clean, staff extremely friendly, andoverall layout is very welcoming.
