We had a party of four dining. Two were dying for Mussels which they both had. one ordered a special Ravioli with a crabmeat... topping and I had the Grouper Francese. All of the meals were excellent. Our server Christina provided great service and did itwith a smile and a great sense of humor. We will definitely be dining with them again. I'm not sure how we missed eating at La Strada Italian Restaurant all of these years but we had an awesome dinner there... today! The inside of this restaurant is on the smaller size but it's cozy. Their menu has a large selection of dishes and theprices are extremely reasonable. They had several awesome chefs specials, (including a couple of fresh seafood dishes), but weordered Sausage and Peppers over Linguine and Lasagna. Each meal comes with bruschetta as well as a salad, (I upgraded to aGreek Salad). I knew the food was going to be fantastic as soon as the bruschetta came out. The homemade bread was hot andcrispy and that bruschetta topping was over the top. The server said they serve their bruschetta topping on the side becausesome people don't like tomatoes and can dip their bread in the garlic oil. The salads came out next and they were alsodelicious, (all of their dressings are made in-house). I am glad I upgraded my salad as the regular salad was simple andconsisted of lettuce, shredded carrots and cucumber. We was shocked when our entrees came out....they were huge! We couldonly eat half of our dishes and have plenty of leftovers for lunch or dinner. The sausage and peppers were amazing...this dishwas packed full of sausage and the sauce was fresh and bright. My partner said the lasagna was the best they've ever had. Iapologize for the pictures of the entrees...they were taken after we covered them with fresh parmesan. I never hear much aboutthis place, (even though they've been in business for 21 years), but I'm really happy to have stopped in! I think La Stradabumped Viola's from my top favorite rustic Italian in St.Augustine...I can't wait to go back and try their other dishes. Highlyrecommended! Read more
Unexpected delight! Great service; delicious food; huge portions (aka leftovers); variety of dishes. We arrived early which was... a blessing as the incoming stream of customers quickly overwhelmed the amount of staff available. Hopefully, that is gettingresolved, because it is worth even a reasonable wait. Read more
A cozy family owned italian restaurant! The place is small and comfy, the food is delicious! Portions are very well served. Just... be patient; they're short of employees, and the waitresses are in a rush but always with a smile on their faces! Let's supportlocal businesses!!!! Read more

Ok, let me start with the fact that the place is like ?little Italy ???????? ? in the beach area of St. Augustine, outskirts of... town. It is not in downtown, only 7 minutes from the Brigde of Lions which is ABSOLUTELY WORTH to drive to this place. It iscozy, homey, and the servers are very friendly. The wine list is exquisite and the food?awww?I don?t think I can?t describeenough its delicious, mouthwatering, delightful FLAVOR!! My husband loves Italian food and I do too. We both agreed that wehaven?t ever tasted a marinara sauce as this one ever before here in the US. The prices? Very affordable! The dish size? HUGE(share or take home). Our dining experience last night was exceptional! The waitresses here work super hard and are extremely pleasant. We ordered the... lobster bisque, calamari, lasagna and the special of the night sea bass all were superb. We?ll definitely dine again. Read more
Wonderful food, excellent staff and great ambiance. Made us feel like part of the family. The mozzarella sticks are delicious.... Our daughter loves the spaghetti. A nice selection of wine, homemade dressing and salad with all entrées. They even have dailyChef specials. This will be our Italian place to go every time we are in St August. Read more
