I'm pretty disappointed KFC is one of my favorite takeout restaurants. My wife bought a bucket of chicken meal for our family... the chicken breading was soggy and falling off. The half gallon of lemonade tasted like lemon water. The sides of macaronimashed potatoes and coleslaw we're pretty good but unfortunately I'm overall underwhelmed. Ate at the St Augustine KFC tonight. Both my husband and I commented on how good the fried chicken was - actually the best KFC... chicken we've had, the friendliness of the counter help and how clean the restaurant was. In addition while we were eating themanager came out to make sure we had what we needed and to make sure our food was good. I thought that was so thoughtful and Ihave never had a manager at a fast food restaurant come out to verify my experience was to my liking. We had the bucket ofchicken meal with sides. Today?s was not a a great experience. I totally missed the KFC buffet with the all you can eat buffet. which I?m sure the change... reasons are due to COVID. but, I went today just to enjoy the experience of the the cleanest inside of the restaurant. As, Iproceeded to place my order. I noticed not one employee or management had on gloves nor washed hands in between touching thingsother than food. Nastiest chicken I've has in 58 years of life. We went through the drive through yesterday, and was initially told they were... out of chicken, then the manager told the order taker that they were not completely sold out. We placed an order, and would muchrather have had them be out of chicken than to waste our money on the mess we received. Every piece of chicken was filled withbroken pieces of bones as if the chickens had been ran over by a car. Grease was dripping off of each piece as well. The sideof corn was dried out and hard like Indian Corn. We ended up throwing everything away. With food prices increasing as they are,they should be ashamed to serve customers garbage like this. Messed up order and didn?t even remember the order when we got up to the window. Food was nasty. Beyond nuggets were hard and... tough. 4 different drinks all tasted stale like bad water and no syrup. Fries tasted old. Read more
I couldn't remember the last time I was in a fast food joint and anyone came over and asked how the meal was going. Until today... that is. Very courteous service as well as like I said one gentleman walked around and asked each table how they were doingoffering to help clear tables as well as refill drinks. It's a breath of fresh air to see someone take such pride in themselvesand their work. Big shout out to Jason for exemplary service. Read more
