Good food in a great atmosphere and a gorgeous hotel.
We stayed at casa Monica hotel for 2 nights, my mom and I have dinner at the restaurant. The waitress was so nice to us checking... on us at each dishes. We ordered paella for two , the taste was so good than we expected. Due to the portion we didn?t finishit. I feel bad we couldn?t pack the food . There is no microwave in the hotel. Read more
Breakfast was setup for our parents 50th anniversary. They loved the place! Make sure you enter the building via the tunnel and... take advantage of the $5 valet parking. Service was fast and drinks and food amazing. This is going to be our go-to upscalenon-weekend breakfast place. We went here on romantic date and were pleasantly pleased. My husband hates fancy food because he always complains that they... don't give you enough food and he is still hungry but he didn't have that complaints with this place. Their homemade bread isdelicious. It was hard to restrain myself, because I love bread. We started off with the Peach Salad and it was delicious. Hedoesn't even like salad and he loved it. The cornbread croutons were sweet and crunchy, but not hard. The fruit in this saladwere the perfect compliment to the fig vinaigrette. For our dinner I ordered the catch of the day, which was the sea bass. Itwas delicious. My husband had the the pork chops which he said was chocked perfectly & very good. To finish up our dinner we hada double chocolate cake which was rich and decadent. Overall, the food was fantastic. I also liked the ambience and decor of therestaurant. it had a very upscale and classy vibe to it. My husband planned this dinner and I was proud of him. He definitelygot brownie points for this one. Don?t believe the reviews! We visited here for dinner while on vacation. My grouper was very tough and tasteless. Hubby?s filet... was also tasteless. Very overpriced for the quality. The server (Sierra) was nice but definitely didn?t care that our food wasmediocre even though I told her it was not good and sent back a full plate. Don?t waste your time or money! Read more
