Fine dining and a very intimate experience. I asked what the chef's favorite was. The server went and brought the chef to out... table. The owner and master chef is from Macedonia and has created a very well done menu. Read more
What a wonderful introduction to St. Augustine! Sitting in the outdoor courtyard was wonderfully charming. The host put us at... ease while not crowding. The staff were very helpful. We were going to have a glass of wine, when the host mentioned the effortthat went into his sangria. We all order one and oh my. It was wonderful. The house special was lamb with saffron rice, spinachand Greek yogurt. It was wonderful and more than I could eat. The lamb outside was crisped with rosemary while the inside wasjuicy and tender and falling off the bone. While simple it was divine. I highly recommend Cortesse's Bistro for your first orlast stop to St. Augustine, FL. Will set the bar high. Read more
This was a delicious meal. We came for lunch and the atmosphere is so quaint and adorable. I came with 2 ladies for lunch on a... Sunday and it was basically empty. We shared 3 salads and each one of them was delightful! We finished the meal with tiramisuwhich was phenomenal! Great place! Read more
Cortesse?s Bistro was our favorite experience in St. Augustine. The food was fresh, delicious and felt like it came from our... grandparents kitchen. The staff was warm, welcoming and made us feel as though we were in their own home. (Striker was one ofthe best waiters that we?ve had!). We sat in the outdoor patio area- it was like being transported to a beautiful privategrotto!! This was a special birthday celebration but we will be back for date nights and afternoon lunches.
