Reviews for Café Alcazar in St. Augustine, FL
Very interesting place to eat. Great atmosphere, we sat in what used to be the largest pool in the world now a restaurant. Built... in 1889 the hotel now houses the Lightner Museum. The hotel pool was once amazing and the fanciest and largest ever built with aconstant flow of sulfur spring water? Not sure how that would smell? Make reservations, only about 10 small tables, very classy.Piano player was great today. Not a place for children! Healthy clean food. Prices were good, I had a hummus cucumber sandwichpriced at 14$. A place for history buffs. Read more

A must see (and dine) place while visiting Saint Augustine. The venue is steeped in history. It was a home of Henry Flagler. The... restaurant is actually in the old swimming pool. The architecture is amazing. Make reservations well in advance of your visitand plan to eat slowly and take it all in. I imagine an event here would be beautiful! Read more
