Reviews for Bruster's Real Ice Cream in St. Augustine, FL

Hello, please be advised my husband and his friend just got home from the Saint Augustine location on US 1 and the gift card we... have has $32.68 left on it and the young man working tonight said it wasn't working and he even tried punching the numbers inand still didn't work. My husband's friend suggested to the young man that he should swipe the card a little slower to see ifthat works and he said it doesn't work like that only when swiped fast. Needless to say the gift card didn't work and my friendand my husband had to pay with cash. It works perfectly fine last month when we used it. We have been going to this brusters for a few years now in st augustine and for some reason the last year their customer service... has gotten terrible. Guy with the long hair is arrogant and apparently doesn?t like making blasts according to some remarks weoverheard him saying to other customers. The past few times we?ve been in we each have gotten a blast with 2 toppings and Iguess they hate making them so much that they barely putting any toppings in them. When you pay $15 for ice cream you expect itto be good. There are plenty of other good ice cream shops in town that are better with friendlier employees that we will begoing to instead of this one now. Read more

Was that 2 scoops? We love our home Bruster's, so excited to find one close by here. We ordered 2 scoop cup and was very... surprised and very disappointed when the clerk gave us both this small cup with approx. 2 maybe 3 tablespoons worth of icecream. I asked him if that was 2 scoops and he yes. We should have just walked out. $8+ later we were savoring our 2 littlescoops of ice cream. Thank goodness it still has that great taste. Just came from Bruster's. What a find! (In the Winn Dixie shopping center north of town.) Convenient parking, which can be a... challenge in St. Augustine. Excellent homemade ice cream. Big variety of flavors. My all time favorite shake (vanilla) wasgreat. My wife loved her scoop of something with a chocolate swirl. Bruster's is new a tradition!
