Came here tonight. Food was "meh" ... definitely not worth the prices. We ordered a chicken fried steak, took one bite out it... and sent it back. It tasted like it was soaked in fryer grease and all appetite was lost after. Then was told we'd still have topay almost $12 for the soup he ate and all the rest of the UNTOUCHED sides.... Super good food. Outstanding soups. Their breakfast, lunch and dinner is really good. I especially love their steak. It's to... die for. Cooked to perfection. They make Anna potatoes that is the best. You better hurry in get some, it's a popular menu itemthat constantly runs out which is a bummer in my book. Very friendly staff. We love coming here. This was super disappointing. The best thing was the mediocre soup. My husband got the lamb chops and my daughter took a bite... and proceeded to throw across the room (which we did reprimand her for) but it shows the quality of the meat. She will eat cheapsirloin and loves lamb. I got the stuffed shrimp and mushrooms, the mushrooms were edible but the shrimp were not, my dogwouldn't even eat them. I loved the idea of all the family style sides, but all of them were canned food, which would be fine ifthis place wasn't so expensive. Did a last minute stop in this town to fill-up and glad I did. Found this great restaurant that I wish I could take home with... me. From beginning to end the food was deeeeliiiccious!! I ordered the lamb chops with soup along with calamari for appetizer.The soup tasted like a home cooked piece of heaven great for cold weather. It had meat balls and veggies and alotta love in it.The lamb chops were so melt in your moth goodness (ordered medium rare) with creamy mashed potatoes and gravy. I can't wait topass through this town again on my next trip so I can eat here again. Read more
