Overall, a great visit! My husband and I came here for dinner on a Friday night and despite how busy the place was, our food was... served very quickly and our server stopped by regularly. We had drinks, appetizer, and entrees and we were in and out in anhour. We ordered the queso fundido appetizer and while it's a simple dish, it was awesome, the chorizo was so rich anddelicious. I had a quesadilla which I felt had too many beans that covered up the other flavors but it was still tasty. Myhusband had the torta with al pastor and loved his sandwich, it was packed with toppings and the bread was surprisinglyflavorful. The portions were generous so I don't know if I would bother with an appetizer next time. We each took half of ourentree home. We will definitely be going back to try more of the menu. Read more

I stopped by on my way to Brainerd. I google searched for Mexican food and found this. Got the #7 beef enchilada and chili... rellano. The servings sizes are great, the food came out lukewarm. The chips and salsa were delicious. I was really disappointedin the flavors as they were just bland and a yellow cheese covered the dish taking away from any authenticity in the food. Read more

This was by far the best and most authentic Mexican restaurant I have ever eaten at. I had the shrimp tacos and it wasn't too... little shrimp pieces with some cabbage it was several large shrimp chopped up with a little bit of lettuce I was very hungry andI could only eat two of them. I have been here twice, once for dine-in, another for takeout. Both times the food has been amazing! Food comes out quick, but... always taste amazing! Staff is super friendly as well. Edit 6/2022: They apparently got new owners and the food does not taste as great anymore. It's not bad by any means but the food... everytime I came before they switched owners was better than it is now. This place is VERY good. The inside is very similar toa lot of other Mexican restaurants, so you'll be used to that. They start you out with some chips and salsa like normal. Theseones are definitely better than most, if not all other restaurants I've tried. The chips are warm and have a good flavor. Thesalsa is also very good. I ordered tacos asada and a chicken quesadilla. The quesadilla is HUGE!! (Look at the picture) and hada lot of flavor. Amazing quesadilla. The tacos came with the tomatoes and salsa separate so you can add them together and thesteak had a lot of flavor also. The only negative I really had is that they don't double the tortillas for the tacos so thetortillas fell apart while I was eating my tacos but I'm sure they could double them if you ask. Read more

Miguel is the best server I have ever had. Not to mention, the food is amazing, authentic Mexican food. This is their 2nd... location. They also own Los Ortiz in Becker, MN. Either location has fantastic service and wonderful food. Read more

The food came to the table hot. Good flavors, and good portion sizes. Did not bring any home. Would have like to had a straw for... the drink, because it was not easy to drink made a mess. Did order a corn cob and did not get it. The waiter gave good ideas forgood options. Overall a good experience prices where not horrible. Just hope next time to get all items ordered. Read more
