We love riverwalk! We had the perfect 40th birthday dinner for my husband, over the weekend. Delicious food and great service!... we really enjoyed ourselves. The BANG BANG SHRIMP is BACK & i could not be more happy! SO DELICIOUS. Also, perfect boating spotin the summer, we love coming up Friday evenings enjoying patio lake view & listening to live music.Special Shout out to ourwaitress; she managed to remember everyone's names/orders etc. super organized, personable, kept the libations coming, and trulywent above & beyond. I posted a pic of their $17 ?Lobster Roll?. The pic was taken before I took a bite of anything. The lobster roll filling was... gross and cheap. For $17 this is the Amount of COLD greasy fries. Everyone else?s plate looked as sad as mine. I?ll never eathere again and I don?t recommend you do either. Read more
Nice little spot right on Elk Lake. The view is wonderful and the water is breath taking. We dined outside for lunch. Waitress... was very attentive and checked on us often. The fish and chips were top notch! The perch and fries were cooked perfectly. Myonly knock on the place is that the pricing is a little bit high. $22 for 4 pieces of fried perch and a handful fries is steep.But overall: nice view, great staff, and food is tasty. Read more
Went there this past week. Some good and bad. Main thing, I think the food is only an afterthought. Drinks were amazing. But... we got calamari, which tasted like a basic grocery store bought calamari, and the rest of the food was just bland. None badenough to return but the chicken was overcooked and flavorless, the fries had clearly been sitting, and the fish and chips wasaverage. I would rate the service a bit higher than the quality of the food. We sat outside on the deck facing the waterway. Very... comfortable on a late Sunday afternoon. Our server (Maddy) was friendly and quick with bar goods and food. My wife?s salad camewith onions; when requested without and it was served without the grilled chicken as ordered - so, that was disappointing.However, Maddy addressed the issues and made them right. We recently dined here twice. Food was edible but could have been better. A bit pricey for what you get. Service was... acceptable. I know there is a shortage of kitchen help these days so it's possible there was a short term "summer job" staff inthe kitchen. Great location with view of the lake. Hopefully the food improves. So, we had some trepidation after reading newer reviews, but attended anyway. However, we were delighted by our visit. -... service was nicely paced and courteous. They were attentive to refills and didn't hover. We weren't rushed through any part ofthe experience - the atmosphere was really pleasant. We ate outside and found the experience to be lovely and cool - live musicwas on and he wasn't too loud - he added to the experience overall - there were 0 food mix ups Food-wise: We ordered lobsterrolls, ribs, filet mignon, fish and chips, and a burger. They were all delicious, and we would absolutely get them again. Wealso had the pulled pork nachos and the Buffalo dip - again, delicious. We did not experience any of the sub-par food momentsthat the other reviews mentioned, and didn't see anyone else experience returned food either.
