I enjoy Rubio's in general but I watched an employee take a break and return back to work without washing her hands. She picked... food out of her teeth, made herself a drink. Touching the fountain drink buttons with the same fingers she picked food out ofher teeth with. My shrimp were lukewarm and the keto taco wasn't hot. I waited while my food was prepared, so really not surehow anything could be cold. I would just ask mgmt to ensure all employees wash their hands after returning to the work areabecause the employee also handed out food to customers. Read more

Didn't let me know my order was down. Even though I was the only customer in the store at 8:20pm. Tossed it on the counter with... several other orders that were waiting on door dash and the like. Ordered two burritos one shrimp and one Mahi Mahi. Neither wasmarked so had no idea which burrito was which. Good food, marginal service. At least the staff showed up to work, anymore that'ssomething. Made me wish I could take my 20% tip back. Read more

I?ve had Rubios in Fresno which is actually great. The service and quality of food in Fresno was phenomenal. Imagine my surprise... to find that the Rubio?s in Elk Grove absolutely sucks. The service is deplorable, and the staff was still cleaning at opening.The management must be incompetent for the staff to be just finishing their cleaning process at opening. Surprised to see poorleadership and quality in Elk Grove as compared to Fresno. Read more

Tired of Rubio's charging top dollars and consistently dropping the ball. Ordered two salads today, with corn, for which I paid... extra. Salads were to go, one is super small, other one they put dressing on..both do not have the corn. This is not unique.Last time I was on hold for 20 minutes and continued to hold on phone while I decided to drive to the location and watchemployees roam aimlessly. I placed order and told the cashier I am still on hold for 20 plus minutes, she shrugged hershoulders. From today's purchase, I am including reciept and picture and challenge management to look into this and improvequality and service if they care. Read more
