Folks, if you are visiting Elk Grove, California, drop in on Jamie's Cafe. I did. It has a nice open decor, comfortable seating,... and a bright, airy place. You are greeting with hearty welcome. Service begins and ends with you. Food portions and quality makethis establishment great for quick bites to a family outing. Large windows not only provide excellent views but also enhance asense of outdoors while indoors. Price point versus value, excellent. After another visit, I'm delighted to report that Jamie'shas expanded their capacity. There is now ample room for large parties. Read more
Awesome place to sit down and enjoy your breakfast or lunch. I'm pretty picky about my coffee and these guys didn't disappoint... and 3egg steak amlet with country potatoes just hit the spot. Jamie's Cafe employees did everything right. We had like fourdifferent people come and check on us to see if we needed anything else. I love supporting local business but the food here is bland. They have decent offerings but pass the salt please. I got a... breakfast sandwich once and while the food was cooked properly, the sandwich was really dry. Service is good, staff is politebut I wouldn't come here that often. Read more
Well folks, I'm still on my quest to find a great breakfast place. This place has GREAT customer service. The food,... unfortunately, is just ok. I'd certainly give them a try again in the future, but not anytime soon. What I'd recommend, makeyour own biscuits for starters. There are plenty of great recipes out there and you'd probably spend less than buying themfrozen and reheating. I got the Keto Hash dish and it was like there was too much going on within the dish. Sometimes less isbest. Focus on elevating a single flavor and compliment it with a couple of things max. Overall, I believe this restaurant isclose to being a great place. We had an excellent breakfast today. I had some really tasty biscuits and gravy. My wife had some big fluffy pancakes. Our... son had a beautiful looking and flavorful chicken fried steak and our grandson had some chicken fingers, even they were madevery well. The service was excellent. They even had Mrs. Claus there today to entertain the kids and Mrs. Clause even handedout stocking with present for all the good kids. (Hint-they were all very good kids) In other words, everyone at therestaurant made us feel special. It is what I love about neighborhood restaurants. Read more
This was my first time here. The place was busy but our wait time was under 15 minutes. The food was delicious and our waitress... was very friendly and helpful. I ordered avocado toast and deep fried French toast with strawberries. Highly recommended to try! Read more
