Have been to other Funks on numerous occasions and had great experiences. That's why we decided to try this one out. My wife... and I just wanted to have a nice lunch together and stopped here while camping in E Town. A female was sitting at the barapparently working from home. Computer on the bar with 2 phone and her 2 kids sitting in a booth unattended. Apparently thebartender knows the woman and was taking care of her kids while the woman did her business on the phone. We certainly didn'tneed to hear her trials and tribulations about her job while we were trying to have a conversation. Just a side note. I havesome problems with hearing and for me to be able to hear her conversations says alot. On a positive note. Food and drinks wehad were good. Won't be back though. Read more
Started getting takeout here a few months ago, when I discovered that although I don?t like beer, the food is pleasantly... interesting (1 of about 4 places in town that aren?t chains, aren?t pizza and aren?t swimming in grease). Also really like thatI can order online to pay in store? I like paying in cash! The staff are always nice and I?ve liked all the food I?ve triedthere? especially the whiskey BBQ sandwich and the curry fries. And guys? for the first time in my life I found a beer I LIKE!!!I bought it for a friend because I thought Ur Mom was a funny name, but when I tried it I was hooked. Are you sure it?s beer?! Excellent beer, terrific flavors! Black and Bleu burger was really good! Highly recommend... you do order your drinks and food... at bar but not a big place. Read more
The few times I've gotten something to eat at Funk, I've always been disappointed. I ordered the big bowl and as you can see... half of the ingredients were missing. No quinoa, rice or three bean salad. So for lettuce, cabbage and corn, it was definitelynot worth 13 dollars. This place is nice for drinks and hanging out with friends/family, but not for a meal. I've been stopping into sample the food and beer here since shortly after they opened, and I'm happy to see the progress in both... the food and beers over the years, lots of tasty fermented and distilled beverages, and plenty of plant based options, I'm gladthey are one of the closest breweries to my parents place! Love Funk Brewing! It's got a really cozy vibe to it in the front part of the restaurant where you can overlook Market St that's... perfect for a date night or dinner with friends. I really love that they have vegan food options, the vegan chili dog andbratwurst are great! The beer is really good too! And they have an event space and second bar area in the back. The bartendersare really friendly and quick. Really glad to have this place in Etown! Read more
The perfect place to finish out the night hanging with friends. The atmosphere is casual and friendly. The kind of feel you get... when walking into a welcoming home. Big selection of micro brews. They have a citrus IPA that is Amazing. ???? I ordered hotwings and pretzel bites. So so good! I've ordered their burgers before and they're delicious as well. Highly recommend! Read more
