This is the first negative review I have posted in a long time. I realize that restaurant owners and managers have difficulty... finding good wait staff and I know that patience is appreciated, so I try to be very forgiving when I enter any restaurantdoors. That the woman waiting on the section we were in was overworked and the restaurant was understaffed was immediatelyapparent, but that is not the reason for this post. I will say the guacamole was excellent, but that is the only positive thingabout the entire evening. The chicken was very tough, but the main issue was that my friend was incorrectly charged for amistake that was made by the wait staff. When she calmly tried to explain it to the server, who was trying desperately tounderstand what she saying but had no idea because she did not understand English that well, she went to the manager to explainit. She returned infuriated at the way she was treated by the manager. Another person attempted to explain the situation tothe manager, and she, too was treated very aggressively by the manager. I realize that the public feels entitled, is often rude,and frequently complains just to try to get a charge dismissed from the bill. This, however, was a low-cost, legitimate mistakethat was made by this server, and could have been easily resolved by the manager, who chose not to rectify the situation. Tried Plaza Azteca for the first time recently. Soooo good! I was quite surprised to find what seemed to be much more authentic... food than your average Mexican restaurant. Their street tacos did not disappoint. The OMG nachos were amazing. Also tried thelumpia, which I had not had in years, and it was really good too. I was a bit put off by the cold salsa (I prefer it room tempat least) but it had a great flavor. Atmosphere was nice when we went, but I understand they changed things up for karaoke onsome evenings. Absolutely great place . The Philly steak and cheese burrito and the queso dip- both were so filling we couldn't eat a meal too.... Fantastic customer service and delicious food. We sat at the bar as we didn't want to take up a table since eit was a quicklunch stop.very Clean Highly recommend. Will definitely stop in again. Read more

Ariana was the bartender the night we went, we were there for dinner but had chosen to sit at the bar and I'm so glad we did!... Her upbeat and friendly attitude was enjoyable and she did a great job making conversation with us all without missing a beatwith service. The food was delicious too!
