La Fogata has the best Colombian empanadas I have ever eaten, they are always consistent. No other place can compare in my... opinion. Their food is also delicious and the staff is really nice. Read more

The margaritas were very good. Their empanadas were also delicious. The service was great. But the food (main course) wasn't as... good as everything else. Gotta give it another try. Read more

Was recommended to go here by a Colombian friend. Finally tried it last night and boy we were full! We ordered empanadas... colombianes/colombian empanadas (not pictured since they were already in our tummies), arepa pabellón/corn cake stuffed withbeef, cheese, avocado, sweet plantain & black beans, entraña a la parilla/grilled skirt steak and bandeja paisas/grilled steak, rice, beans, sausage, fried pork skin, egg, avocado, sweet plantain & corn cake. I have to say, I think they have the bestbandeja paisas that I?ve tried so far. Just a side note, if you are non-Spanish speaking, there might be a slight languagebarrier. It?s not a big deal though because their menu has English translation. Other than that, the food was great! I stillwish they had pan de bono/Colombian cheese bread when we went though - I love those!
