Grabbed some pizza pies yesterday as I was searching for a brick oven pizza in the area, I just want to say the pizza was one of... the best I?ve tasted, but the customer service was so horrible that it leaves me not ever wanting to come back. The guy thathelped at the counter was so unfriendly, apathetic and rude. I?m not sure if they were discriminating against me or what becausethe attitude and treatment was so incredibly unwarranted. Honestly what happened here!!!!! I ordered the Margherita Pizza What the heck no basil 5 little leaves Cold as Alaska.I threw... out. Plz value your restaurant with better services. I placed an order through Uber eats and I ordered 2 regular slices and they looked very stale were hard and burnt not appetizing... at all. I don?t know who would let food go out like that. Totally unacceptable. I?ve been ordering here for a few years and mylast few orders the pizza has been soggy to the point when you bite into it the pizza would fall apart and the cheese is sothick and would be hardened. I?ve tried to give this place the benefit of a doubt but my last order was the last straw for me.The pizza looked as if it was a day or two old. They never disappoint me. The food is always fresh and delicious. I had ordered the lasagna a week or so ago and omg it was so... bomb, so flavorful and the sauce is amazing. I decided lemme try another dish, and gotten spaghetti. So delicious and I lovethe sauce. I also love when you get any baked specialty it comes with salad and bread. 3 1/2. If you are looking for a cheap quick eat but decent food, then this is the place. The red sauce on the Original is bit... too sweet for me. The Italian hot dog on crunchy bread is really good. The place is small and busy. Staff is super friendlyand patient. Read more
Stopped in on the way to the airport and happy we did. I would have given them the full 5 stars, because my Chicken parm was... very good. The girls I was with didn't like the Philly Cheese steak toasted roll. It tasted very good but having a steaksandwich on a toasted roll "grinder" was a little weird. Being that i am from Philly area, a steak sandwich doesn't have atoasted roll. The service was outstanding. The owner and all the guys working there were incredibly nice, very friendly. The Felix family is doing it right. This place is awesome. My family and I are here in Elizabeth visiting for a week and this is... the first restaurant we chose to come to. I?m glad we did. Really cool place with super friendly people. It?s clear they take alot of pride in their food. We ordered a large pie and it was amazing. The crust was perfectly cooked, the sauce was awesome andjust the right amount, cheese and pepperoni were great, and that little bit of oregano on top was spot on. My youngest sonwatched him make it....his first time having pizza in Jersey. We ate in the restaurant so we got to eat it right out of theoven. Perfection. Thanks for what you do, guys. My pizza was too soggy & cold disappointingly. Their pasta was top tier.
