My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and wanted to find a nice new place to dine. I came across Calo on Yelp and we... decided to give it a try. Upon our arrival, we were promptly greeted and seated at a table in the outdoor dining area. The decorand the overall ambience was very nice. Our server was so friendly and attentive. Initially she took our drink orders and putthe order in. She returned with chips, salsa and our drinks shortly after taking the drink order. Then she promptly took ourappetizer & entree orders, she explained that the appetizer and entree order would be adequately spaced so they wouldn't allcome at the same time. And just as she promised, our orders came out like clockwork. The food was delicious! I told the serverthat we were celebrating our anniversary and she gave us well wishes, then returned with complimentary glasses of champagne forboth of us. We were so appreciative! Then to top it off, she even brought us out a complimentary dessert with a card that all ofthe staff had signed. It's very rare when I'm impressed with the incredible service at a restaurant and I have to say this was one of those instances.... Our waitress Angelica went above and beyond to make sure that we were fully satisfied with everything that we ordered. We gotboth potato and shrimp taquitos, pineapple and pork tacos, short rib enchilada, and elote. As food started to come out, eachdish was better than the other. I was truly fascinated by how delicious the food tasted and how well the presentation was done.The portions were also very big and shareable. I definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone who loves Mexican food with amodern twist. I will definitely be back to try some more items. Read more

CALÓ KITCHEN IS THE BEST UPSCALE MEXICAN FOOD RESTAURANT I'VE EVER BEEN TOO, THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS AND THE SERVICE WAS GREAT.... THE ATMOSPHERE WAS VERY CHILL AND RELAXED. BUT OVERALL THE FOOD WAS PHENOMENAL AND THE DRINKS WERE ON POINT. I HAVE RECOMMENDEDTO ALL MY FRIEND FOR DATE NIGHT OR IF YOU JUST GREAT FOOD AND DRINKS. Read more
First time coming here, definitely not the last! I was pleasantly surprised by the authentic Mexican taste! 5 star restaurant.... The food here is delicious, rich in taste! Family friendly environment is a plus! They have a kids menu which is a thumbs up(big portion meals) I strongly recommend! Read more
First time dining at this place and my personal opinion not a bad place. I order a plate of prime ribs enchiladas which where... pretty good. Not much of a wait to be seated .Welcoming and good place to have dinner and chill . Our waitress name Karen wasawesome. If you a desert person don’t have high expectations they only offer 3 selections which none where for me . I do haveto point out one thing that annoyed me was when they ask me to wear a mask from the entrance to our seats (which I didnt wear amask either way) make no sense. This restaurant creates amazing food creations. The Ambiance is perfect, there is enough parking, and complete with a beautiful... patio. We came here for a family birthday and we're treated like royalty basically. Everything flows like it was supposed to.Normally you would get the crew singing around the table, but I thought it was special that it was displayed in a handwrittenformat, showing their appreciation. No I don't have any connections here LOL. What I feel made this so special was the excellentcustomer service here. Our waiter was named Griffin and he was so on point. We didn't have to ask for anything because it wasfulfilled. I appreciate his professionalism and I also appreciate Laura's professionalism. Delicious stop for Mexican food in a trendy atmosphere! The best part was the free beans that come with the chips! So yummy. The... portion sizes were VERY generous and the margaritas (they have a wide variety) were also great. Friendly service too. Just greatall around! There are two patios, one in the parking lot and in the back. Parking can be tough! Even for lunch for a weekdaythe lot was nearly full. Read more
