Reviews for Taft-Diaz in El Paso, TX
I have come to Taft Diaz on 3 different occasions; 2 for lunch, and 1 for breakfast. I have never had a less than wonderful... experience! The food is amazing, seriously. And the service is fantastic as well, so attentive, nice and happy. I would highlyrecommend coming here! I've tried the chilaquiles divorciados, and the lunch combo that comes with soup, salad, entree &dessert. The corn soup is amazing, the tomato soup wasn't my favorite because it had a strong barbeque flavor, the caesar saladis delicious & the burger is OUT OF THIS WORLD. Do yourself a favor and come here! You won't regret it. Read more
Awesome! Outstanding cocktails and great service, the bartender was awesome. Recommend the mezcal Negroni. The tacos were good... upscale tacos. Read more

It is a beautiful hotel/ restaurant/ bar. The decoration its great. It just make me feel at ease and like home. I had couple of... beers at the bar and enjoy my time in there. The bartender was very attentive and recommend some mix drinks. The music also wason point, I felt relax and in a good mood during my time at the bar. The prices are a little bit high but its worth it. Totallyrecommend this place. Read more
The Japanese wagyu was far and away the most impressive piece of beef I have ever had. Cooked to perfection and stunningly... flavorful. As always, the service was excellent as well. Read more
I wasn't able to give Taft Díaz a chance for lunch or dinner, but from what I experienced for breakfast during my 3 day stay at... Stanton House, their breakfast menu was subpar. The breakfasts plates are over priced ($14 for each of the entree photos shown)considering they don't include the side and the small portions. The fresh squeezed juice was amazing, but the taste of theentree was only okay. They also only have one server working each morning so one day we waited an hour for our food even withonly two other families in the dining area. We also had to express the need for our drinks to be refilled and waited over 20minutes each time to be brought our bill after requesting it initially. To be completely honest, if I didn't have the breakfastvouchers from my hotel I would have been going across the street to Mamacita's for breakfast instead. However, my experiencewasn't too horrible, so hopefully one of my next visits I can squeeze in a visit for lunch or dinner to have my mind changedgiven that the reviews show much more hope for other meal times. Had one of the best meals of my life here. Exquisite. Pricey but worth it. Took a chance, splurged with my boyfriend, and it... paid off! All the food was beautiful, the environs are warm and cozy, and he even commented that the kitchen staff didn?t lookstressed out like in most restaurants, but seemed to be enjoying the job! Lovely experience. Read more
