Burger was good. A bit much of the cream cheese in my opinion. Customer Service was good also, but my Old Fashioned was... horrible. I strongly dislike a Old Fashioned with chip ice. It ruins the whole point of the whisky and slowly expresses thedrink. When the bar tender asked I told him it was horrible and his response was we have no more large cubes. And chucked it offand walked away. Other than that good atmosphere all around. Read more
Not a great experience. I ordered to go and was told my food would be ready in approximately 15 minutes. I arrived after 15... minutes and my order was not ready. After another 10 minutes I was told part of my order was actually not available because theywere out of it. Fine, that happens, no big deal, and I asked if the rest of my was food ready. They said yes and, after another5 minutes or so, my order was brought out. The Cobb salad was tasty, great blue cheese dressing. The vaguely warmish burger andcold French fries, were not at all good and I threw it in the trash after two bites. The patty was oddly torn in half, overcooked to a grey puck, and covered with more pickles than any sane person would want on a cheeseburger (11 if you'recurious). Overall quite disappointing, especially because I stay next door at Stanton House whenever I'm in town and it wouldhave been nice to have an easy dinner option close by. Read more
Burgers are spectacular in this place, server was very friendly, my sweet potatoes fries were amazing. Music is a little loud... but I still would go back for a burger. I highly recommend this place, parking can be challenging but there are some garagesaround. You can't miss this place. Read more
First time to rockstar burger bar and have to admit i was impressed with the looks of this restaurant. Very nice. I had the... chihuahua dog and not only great tasting but very filling. It was topped of with great tasting chile con queso. Also tried thesteak tacos which were seasoned perfectly, steak was very tender and juicy. Did not try a burger but if the chihuahua dog andsteak tacos are any indication of what the burgers taste like, I'll be back soon to try. A must stop if you're hungry and inthe downtown ep area. I had the Fried Fish Tacos and they were amazing! I'm giving it 4/5 because one of the Tacos was all breading and a little... disappointing, but the rest made up for it quite fantastically. Our waitress was very friendly and nice, I got a good vibe fromthis place considering it's a sports bar (I'm not usually a fan). Read more
Very cool ambiance in downtown El Paso. The location has a cool new wave rock and roll motif inside. The staff was very... attentive and courteous. I ordered the onion rings and chicken sandwich, and honestly had reservations, but it seemed like agood menu choice. I was so happy my my sandwich and onion rings, what exceptional taste and quality. I will most definitelyvisit this place again. Thanks for the great experience. Read more
Just a few days ago, 24SEP2022, my much better half and I were attending another fantastic El Paso Symphony with two good... library friends, M.H. & A. This was also the first time we agreed to carpool from their home on the near-West side. Our intentwas to begin this excellent evening with an excellent meal here at this eatery. Actually, because this cursed COVID is stillkilling ~400 people/day in the USA, we got our food “to go”. Not knowing any specific dish, A. highly recommended theshrimp taco, which was A-OK with me because I am a “shrimpaholic”. After obtaining our take out, we enjoyed our mask-freemeals in the lovely San Jacinto Plaza. I was amazed at the quality & quantity of the delicious/grilled to moist perfectionmedium sized shrimp. And, yes, there were some corn or flour tortillas/sour cream/snappy salsa as well, but the main feature wasabsolutely dominant/tasty/worth every dollar! This eatery/shrimp tacos certainly had my coveted “¡Wheel of Approval!” Fastforward a few days to today, Tuesday, 27SEP2022, and I was back downtown carrying out spousal obligations, but I was reallylooking forward to another amazing Shrimp taco from this amazing eatery. Arriving there about (12:30), the server/host/waitstaffwas again just as efficient as before, even filling my now-empty Pilot coffee mug with chipped ice. Soon enough, a plastictake-away bag arrived with a recycled cardboard cuboid filled with steaming gastronomical satisfaction, and I was Gimpwalking myway back the county courthouse parking garage for a feast. Once back inside the (motor)vehicle cocoon, I carefully emptied thesour cream & salsa cups onto the gooey food, salivating with the anticipation. I attacked it with the plastic fork and sawed thesmothered flour tortilla into bite size portions. This was going to be great! I forked a mouthful between my lips and, wait, where are all the shrimp? There were some in unrecognizable form of being extremely overcooked mush, kind of close to “wet Read more
