Reviews for Okazuri in El Paso, TX
We had a half good half meh experience. The miso soup was nice and I enjoyed my octopus salad and fried rice but the shrimp... skewers were way overcooked. The Geisha special we ordered says it comes with masago on top but it was just sprinkled withsesame seeds instead. About half way through our meal a large family came in and after that it was hard to get the serversattention. Probably won't be back anytime soon. Read more
The food tasted good, a little salty. My major complaint was that we informed the waiter that we had a shellfish allergy and... asked him to let the cook know. I asked him to be careful with cross contamination if possible, as other restaurants likeSunny?s Sushi and Sushi Freak are always very careful when notified about our allergies. Unfortunately my dad ended up withshrimp in his beef tepanyaki dish anyway. If you have food allergies, I would definitely avoid eating here because they don?tseem to care about it. Read more
One of the worse places to eat. Waiter was not attentive what so ever, very, I mean extremely poor service. They need to train... these kids what customer service mean. The food wasn't great, oh did I mention how bad the service was? It was my first timegoing there and will definitely be my last. I looked around at the other tables and saw the frustration in their faces. This aBIG NO people! Read more
Good prices and good teppanyaki dish. Sushi was also good but still missing some flavor. Miso soup was not up to the other... dishes. Service was excellent! Read more
Ordered 5 Rolls and some fried rice, and it took exactly 1 hour. But that wasn?t the problem, cause you know, places get busy.... It was more the way, when I arrived 20 minutes early, that they said, ?it said it was going to take an hour.? Oh and the sushiwas not good. And with 5 rolls, they gave us one little tiny scoop of wasabi. (Pictured) That might?ve helped with the taste ofthe sushi. I definitely do not recommend this place. Read more
I went with the Vegas roll after the girl in the front recommended it and I absolutely loved it! It is a fried sushi without... avocado and they give you a side of spicy mayo which is exactly what I was looking for. They also gave me a complementary Misosoup which was very flavorful. I will definitely be back to the sushi! Read more
Best sushi place in all of El Paso so far! This floating sushi bar has a very relaxing and modern aesthetic while still... retaining it's minimalist and Asian look. You have to try it if you haven't yet! All of the food is amazing, and very cateringto all dietary needs. My favorite is the Franklin Roll and the Yakimeshi fried rice. The staff is super friendly andprofessional and you can watch as the chefs prepare your food right in front of you. Be it fried, breaded, or fresh sushi it isall top tier. Their wine selection is not very abundant, but still delectable. They also do catering and deliver throughGrubHub. Dalila was the sushi chef there and i have to say, truly amazing customer service! Will definitely return soon! Sincesushi is my favorite food i can testify that this is a must for any sushi lovers in El Paso. Read more
I was so disappointed in my food I received. I paid a lot of money to receive rice and cream cheese as seen in this photo, and... my other dish was the same. Read more
